Bass With Red Eyes???
Yep, probably a smallmouth. Most of them around me have red eyes, I feel like the smaller ones (where a 12" one would fall) usually do more than the larger ones but that may be because I catch more smaller ones.

Jackal Flick Shakeworm
I always keep multiple packs in my pack. These are one of my go to baits. I will fish them weightless in small ponds and use a small wacky jig head on choppier waters. I use the bluegill color the most. These won't catch big bass consistently but will give you numbers even on the toughest days.

Best Lure For Year Round Use
I think a jig would get bites in any season.

Wierdest Lure You Have Owned Or Seen.
I have a couple of those my father gave to me. Ive caught a couple steelhead on them.

Using Lures As A Drop Shot Weight.
This sounds like a great idea. If you were to use a senko as the weight would you need to peg a weight above it or would you be able to use it weightless?

Best All Around Crankbait Color
Thanks for l the suggestions. I'm trying to downsize some of my crankbaits collection and am about to buy some custom ones for a bit of money and don't have enough to spurge on a a lot of colors. My go to has always been white and gill. And it seems that these wouldn't be to bad in most situations.

Braid Color
I usually go for dark green because most clear lakes in my area are filled with vegetation so it blends well and it doesn't matter much for stained water.

Best All Around Crankbait Color
Is there a color that will perform well in any water clarity and depth? Would black or Pearl be.a good choice?

What Is The Biggest Bass You Have Ever Caught?
My PB is a little over 5 pounds and is the fish in my profile pic. I went to a small pond at a local park to fish for about an hour. I saw some commotion by the bank in about one foot of water. Water clarity was 3-4 feet and it was a sunny day and was early fall. As soon as I started reeling my Cotton Cordell crawdad color squarebill I thought I got snagged; then the snag started to fight. I got him in and new it was my PB by over a half pound. I have hooked two since then that I knew were bigger than this but lost them both. I have not come even close to this fish since.

Braid
I'll put in another vote for original Power Pro. The couple times I've spooled with Super 8 Slick I didn't like how it behaved compared to the original.

Lew's Reel Questions
My Tournament MG (Which has mag braking) does the same thing if I don't have it dialed in perfectly, which isn't always easy to do. I never remember it effecting my casting distance though, usually the overrun will all come out during the cast.

Any Two Pieces Left?
Does anyone make a two piece heavy rod at a low price? I have found many just over 100 but nothing lower. I am searching for a new frog/jig rod and am having no luck. I thought I remember Abu making one but cannot find it. Any help is appreciated.

Anyone Not Have Success Or Dramatically Less Success With A Certain Senko Color?
I do really well on smoke with blue black and gold flake. I usually throw that or green pumpkin for fairly clear water and in murky water I'll throw something a bit darker, but I know of a couple places where I can get bit all day on a bubblegum or chartreuse senko. I agree with some other posts is that the biggest factor which makes a senko a successful bait is the action, not so much the color.

Best Worm Hooks?
I use Owner Twistlock hooks for a lot of applications, if not those then I use Gamakatsu and Lazer Trokar almost exclusively. I have confidence in these and feel the craftsmanship is up to par.
-
Fish Movement After Bait Strike?
From my experience, if the bass has the hooks at all then chances of hooking it again are very very low. If they side swipe it and miss all hooks they might hit it again and will most likely hit another bait right away.

Numbers Or Size...what Is More Important To You?
Since I'm fairly new to bass fishing I just look to catch numbers. Catching some big ones are awesome. But I have days when I catch none. I have thrown huge baits in order to land some of my biggest bass. But to me, catching any on a giving outing is a success.

Kayak Hook Sets
The only fish I have lost lately have been on wacky rigged worms and I attribute that to the small hook. When I'm on my kayak I usually am standing and use a sweep hook set and have no problem setting the hook. Might be because I only use straight braid but With my lighter rods I'll even try to set the hook twice if possible.

Feeling Bad For Killing A Fish?
I feel bad if a fish is even bleeding. I have had a few fish die and feel terrible. It's just part of the sport though. You have to take they joy for catching a huge fish along with the pain of a few dying.

2-3 Ounce Swim Baits
Perhaps he means suggestion. I don't have any as I don't use swimbaits over 1.5 ounces.

Every Kind Of Bait/ Lure?
You'll need multiple crankbaits to cover most depths. A lipless crank would be good as well. Plastic craws could be used alone or as a trailer for the jigs.

Average Length Of Casts For Bass? The Reason For My Sore Shoulder
I usually make as short of casts when possible in my kayak. The stealth of the kayak really gives you the opportunity to make shorter casts with plastics. I still throw cranks and other moving baits as far as I can.

Pb Largemouth
I caught my 5.5 lb PB last fall in a shallow flat that was about 2 feet deep using a red and black xcalibir square bill.

New Spot. New Fish. Now Questions.
When I'm targeting gat I use frayed rope tied around a small round jig head. It can be fished a couple of ways. You don't hook the fish though. Their teeth get caught in the frayed rope. Just cut them out and retie.

Oakley Or Costa
I've owned a pair of Oakley Hijinx with shallow blue lense and a pair of Costa Blackfins with green mirror 580 glass and like the Costas much better. The lenses are better, the frame is built better and fits much nicer, they have superior customer service and are an all around better product than the Oakleys. I still own a couple pair of Oakleys and love them but for fishing, Costa is they way to go.

Bass As Live Bait Illegal Or Not?
As far as I read it is legal to use any game fish as live bait in Georgia as long it is taken legally, but it still counts toward daily limits.
