HAHA yeah, that was the only fish I saw come out of the water that day! DOnt get me wrong I love the lake but it puts up a hell of a fight when it comes to letting her fish bite for me anyways. Good luck to all this year, my boat is under the nife but as soon as she is ready I am gonna fish like hell!

SInce there is so much interest in this thread :-? I will share how our trip went. Sat morning I have rigged up crwfsh rattle traps and cranks throw em till my arm hurts and catch one fish, small. Get to the dock and a guy tells me "no no no, throw these." as he tosses me a watermelon flake trick work. "work em slow through the cattails, we caught 20 bass today." So day two i try his way plus some small jigs brown and black plus slow rolling a spinner bait and I cought nothing. What do yall think happened?

Im just gald to hear that I am not the only one getting skunked! I have been to the lake a few times and only caught two fish! I dont live far from it so I go when I can with great expectations but when I get down there I dont ever catch anything. I am planning on giong soon, probably Feb, and will be using crawfish rattletraps of all sizes and crawfish crankbaits that run difff depths, and I will be pulling em through the grass. Sounds easy enough right? Yeah thats what thought last year and I didnt catch squat.

Well, actually im going to Lake Welsh, my outboard isnt working on my john boat so I am going to stick to a lake that is a little closer to home. I hope your right though I need to catch some fish!!! Have you ever fished Lake Welsh?

Hey guys I am going to try a power plant lake in NE TX this weekend and wanted to know what the spawn was like there. I have been working alot lately and havnt been able to do alot of research on the spawning times of a warm water lake in this area. I got a feelin that it is going to be over, so if anyone wants to jump in here and help me out fell free. Thanks guys.

Sorry to hear that man. I have had it happen to me a few times. I am originally from Mt. Pleasant, TX so I got a few chances to fish the lake. If you go to the far side (west) and go under the last rail bridge, immediately on your left their is a small patch of lilly pads and moss. I had a buddy pull in an 8 or 9 pounder on a frog topwater right there. Try it out. Also ( hope I dont step on any toes), if you fish the dam that joins lake Bob sandlin and Monticello (fish from the sandlin side) during the summer with some dark jigs on the rocks, you can catch some monsters!!

If I understand you correctly I would say just used some self taping screws. Go with quality screws.

I think the idea of BR is to stay neutral. Glenn said it right when he said that you cant keep everyone happy when you got 11000 members. I dont think you could do it with 100! But for more of the "Bubbly" stuff, I love BR and am glad to be apart of it.

I miss the simple life. I used to live in a small town.Then I moved to big D about 2 years ago, and I have gotten a little used to it but man, talk about a rat race! Cant wait to make my millions then by an island!

My reaction to the game: Romo cannot play any worse, so this is a good thing for him to get it out of his system before we see the Patriots. I love our defense even more now, and our special teams just earned there paychecks! Especially the kicker, the nazi looking guy. He showed me true control to be able to make that kick twice. I could go on and on but I will stop now because my excitement cannot be expressed well enough through these stupid plastic keys! I wish they were big enough to throw a football at because I am pumped!!!!!! YYEEEAAAHHH!

Well, what a game! I was at the cotton bowl wishing to see Texas put it on OU but we couldnt do it this year. We had a great time this year at the game as most Texas and OU fans were respective to one another but still cheering hard for their teams. I have to say that the biggest turnover of the game was when Charles fumbled it on the 2. That turnover did it for us. cant wait for next year.

Of course. Fuel flow arrow is pointed at the engine. Its like the clips are not sealing off.

Oh yeah sorry, The boat was used earlier this summer multiple times and was then put up in a friends shop. He brought it back to dallas and when we took it out a couple days later we couldnt get it to start, and we could hear the air coming out around those clips. SO we then went to the store to get new ones and replced them on the spot with no improvements.

I have a flat bottom thats got a johnson 25 on it that I am trying to get ready for duck season. The problem is that I am hearing air come out of the connectors on the brass valve on the tank and the fuel valve on the engine. It has that fuel line with the balloon on it, if this helps. Even though the tank, brass fitting, fuel line, and balloon are under a year old you can hear air and the balloon will not pressurize. (sorry for all the spelling, im in a hurry). Both of the black connectors with the silver clips on their back are brand new, got em about a week ago. So any suggestions?

In some degree I think that Romo's inexperience is a good thing. What I mean is he may not know what would be a bad decision. Get what I am saying. Its like when you try to teach someone what to do, you end up telling them all the things not to do. That can have an effect on the psyche of a player. Romo isnt thinking about consequences because the rest of the team is good as well. Its like he is just out there having fun, and it is working.

In Texas football is king. In Dallas, Tony Romo is the kings right hand man. This guy gets better every game! I just thought I would let everyone know that. GO COWBOYS! Oh yeah, I looked at tickets for the Patriots game in two weeks. Lower deck fifty yard line 850 bucks!!!! I saw some in the thousands!!!! I have not bought a ticket to watch that team in a long time and was shocked to hear about those prices. Are these normal? When should you buy tickets if you want a good deal?

Yeah, you are going to need to get permits/permission from local officials and landowners. You will need some support from the locals as well. Good luck and be sure you double check all the laws. The last thing you want to do is get into trouble.

Well, I am a huge Texas fan but after last week I must admit that I have some band aids on the ready! It helps that OU lost, but I think it is going to take a perfect game by Texas to win.
