  1. Happened to me a couple weeks ago, which was the first time in about 4 years. I too misjudged the distance of an overhanging tree.
  2. My favorites are the Megabass Pop Max and the Storm Chug Bug. Rebel Pop'R is a great popper as well.

  4. That game was a blowout until late in the 3rd quarter when Kawhi went down. Curry and Durant really came up big in the second half.
  5. I have the Fenwick Methods 7'4" MH/HC and I love it. It's a 3 peice rod that comes with 2 extra pieces so you can make it a MH-MF or a H-F depending on which peices you use. It's comfortable, not too heavy and sentisitive enough. I really enjoy fishing with mine. It had no problem handling many bass in the 5 to 9 pound range when I brought it to Mexico. It's a sweet rod, and I would definitely recommend it. It even comes with a hard tube case.
  6. John Wall with the game-winner!
  7. Not quite. No competitive balance, yet the 2 leading MVP candidates are on teams that most people would consider outside the top 3. Although Houston can hang with any team as long as their star doesn't decide to take the night off. No competitive balance, yet the 2 teams in the eastern conference semis are so dead even that they are unable to win on the other's home court. Tie-breakers had to settle eighth-seed races in both conferences. The 5th seed beat the 4th seed in the west, while the 7th seed took the 2nd seed to 6 games. The 8th seed in the east had a real shot at beating the 1st seed until their point guard got hurt. Every sport has good teams and bad teams. Sure, the NBA is the most predictable of the 3 major sports, but the only thing "unbalanced" is the top 2 teams. One of those teams has the greatest player of the current generation, and the other team has one of the most talented rosters ever assembled, with 2 or 3 of the most gifted offensive players to ever hold a basketball. So why wouldn't you want to see those 2 teams in the Finals?
  8. 90% of my fishing is done with casting gear. It's just so much more enjoyable for me. I do have several spinning outfits however, and I'll opt for them for techniques that don't suit casting gear as well.
  9. Epic no-show by James Harden. I thought it was a mistake when they showed his stats with 3 minutes left in the first half and he had TWO SHOT ATTEMPTS! He must have been injured or something. It really is unexplainable how an MVP candidate who sets records for usage rates takes 2 shots attempts in a half of an elimination game.
  10. To me it actually looks like a pumpkinseed with faded color.
  11. Bald eagle at the Adirondack Wildlife Refuge.
  12. I guess I'm in the 1%, because I can name all of them. And I'm not a fan of either team.
  13. Like @basscrusher said, you probably heard "wake-bait".
  14. I think everybody deep down wants to see this again. I know LeBron said it's not a rivalry, but he's not kidding anyone. I know I'll be disappointed if it's anything but those two teams.

I've noticed the same thing and it really makes me wonder. I order A LOT of stuff on Amazon, but soft plastics are not one of them.
  16. Sunset in Warren County, NY
  17. Swim Jig: YCB Heart-Tail swimbait Texas Rig: Culprit 10" Ribbon Tail Jig: Rage Craw
  18. Parker is out for the playoffs, and with his age and the nature of the injury, you have to wonder if he'll return next year and if he has anything left. Luckily for SA, their back up point Patty Mills is really good. He is a fun player to watch, and I think he is more of an actual point guard then Tony Parker. He is a better shooter than Tony as well. The Spurs have some dept at the wing, but Manu needs to step up big time. He is going to see a big increase in minutes and may be required to play the point at times. I still have faith that SA can make it out of this round. In other news, is it safe to say that LeBron and the Cavs have officially "flipped the switch"?
  19. Been there, never again under any circumstances. I have friends who are unable or unwilling to escape situations like this and have pretty much been forced to give up hobbies that they were passionate about. It boggles my mind how someone can not respect the hobbies of the person they're in a relationship with, but it boggles my mind even more so when someone will tolerate that from their girlfriend/wife. Don't be one of those guys! I know its a hard decision to make, but do you think this is the type of situation that will get better or worse as you guys get more serious? My money is on the latter.
  20. Wind and anchors that don't hold.
  21. Man they really thumped the Spurs. It's so weird to see SA get beat so badly but that's what the Rockets can do when they catch fire. Just a total 3-point blitz. 22/50 threes they hit.
