Rodman Resevoir
Hi guys,I been fishing Rodman, every chance I can get away from the house. It's a beutiful impoundment,my question is,for you guys that fish there regularly,I've been useing 7.5" grape shad worms and white spinner baits, the worms seem to produce dinks up to 2 lbs,the spinner baits produce slightly larger fish, but mostly mudfish, this place is too fishey looking not to have an abundance of large fish, what baits should I be useing, and what technique, also where do you fish in this place? there is cover everywhere you look, anyway any info would be greatly appreciated

Bro,the surface temp in Sante Fe,was 87 deg.F. SAT at 1:00 pm.SO water temp in the 90's is not so far fetched,I also noticed that down about 4-5 ' the temp was in the high 70's

Sante Fe Lake
hi Randy,I've been mainly fishing Rodman when I get the chance to go,it's been the only place I've been able to find with any water, but I mainly fish Rodman,Sante Fe,and the Harris chain(where I plan to move to by the first of the year)I have fished the St Johns before but have only been able to catch fish up in Salt Run,I've never fished in Doctors Inlet before, but now that we've had some rain maybe a trip is needed to Leesburg the lake should be coming up.....anybody out there with any info????

Sante Fe Lake
HI guys,Sante Fe is a hard lake to fish, although we did manage to catch 4 dinks,I missed 4 hits and my partner missed 3 all on grape/shad 7 1/2" Culprits, surface temp 84,air temp high90's(hot as hell)Sunny, very little wind from the east,we started at the cut between the big and little lake in 6-8' water next to the grass, then moved to the cypress trees on the south end of the big lake where we started to get some bites, all in all it was a slow day at best...But it still beat work

where's all the Water?
Hey guys,I just returned from a trip to the Harris Chain, the water there is about 3-4' low which resulted in a pretty disappointing trip,it was really hot and the surface temp was 83, so I'm gonna suggest that everybody that fishes these lake bring a gallon of water with them and just dump it over the side(take top off and pour contents of jug into lake). If anybody has a better idea..... ;D

FINALLY! My first bass boat!
congrads. on your purchase welcome to the Skeeter family. I've had mine for three years now and have enjoyed every second I've been on the water with it,but the next time you have it off the trailer check the condition of the bunks(mine rotted after only 3 yrs. and I don't put it in salt water)other than that Skeeter makes a fine product.....Enjoy,Bro! 8-)

Skeeter Boat Trailers
Hey Guys, after a really hot, fairly unsuccessful day on the lake.I returned to the ramp to load my 3 yr old Skeeter SX 180 on to my trailer, also a Skeeter product. After pulling up to the top of the ramp and stopping,I noticed the boat was leaning to the port side on the trailer. The outside bunk was rotten and broke into 2 pieces.Today I replaced 4 Bunks, out of the 4, 3 were rotten . The boat was only minor damaged (a surface scratch about 18" long)Of course the trailer is out of warrenty, but I still felt like Skeeter should be held responsible so I contacted my local Skeeter Dealer, whom I purchased the boat from, and was basically told "tough luck".I contacted the home office and was told my warrenty on the trailer had expired. My boat has never even seen salt water and the boat and trailer are only 3 yrs old should I be making a big deal out of this? or am I justified in being totaly ticked, and out approx.175 bucks >
