i wear a buff and long sleeve Magelan fishing shirt and sweat pants when i fish so its not sun screen.

its not reely bad its just a little bit on the edge of the handle

My favorite brand of reel in my arsenal is Lews, i've had nothing wrong happen to them so far. But on Sat. I noticed that the material on the handle was starting to peel off. We pulled in to a marina to eat lunch for an hour and it was laying in the sun, do you think that caused it? I'm planning on buying a bunch more and i dont wanna have this happen again. Are there any ways I can prevent this from happening again without having to spend any money on reel grips or nothin like that?

Is it just me or certain forums being taken off the site? I could have swore threre used to be a forum about getting into the sport as a pro and getting sponsors. Is it just me?

If you're fishing the south end go to the hot hole there is a TON of bait in there. Throw A-rigs, a couple different cranks, rattle traps, and since the water is so warm you might be able to get some on a top water .

Fish in ponds like to scatter like crazy!

There's an old saying, wind from the east fish bite least. Why does the bite shut off just because wind blows from the east, but there's not a huge differance when it blows to the west, south, or north?

IMHO I didn't have high expectations when I first tied it on last June. And I still don't have high expectations when I throw it now.

OK, what's the hottest lure in bass fishing the last few years? The A-rig. Me and my dad have been trying like crazy to catch a fish on it and we haven't got nothing. The answer we usally get when we ask on other forums is fish with it more and you'll get bit, well today we fished it on ledges, drop offs, under docks, around docks, and in huge schools of bait fish etc. And we didn't get any bites, what are we doing wrong?

One of my favorite baits to throw is a Strike King spinnerbait, at last day of the Classic at the expo in the Booyah booth they throwing out baits. I snagged a spinnerbait, when I got home I opened it the first thing I noticed was the small, thin wire. Has any body had any problems with them breaking?

Skeet Reese- He's a real jerk, at the Classic expo he wouldn't sign my magazine because he was afraid he would be late to Dick's booth if he took 10sec. to sign his name. 2. Fishers of Men Legacy Series

This is more of a funny story than a terrifying one, last summer my grandpa invited me, my brother, and my dad to go out to the jetties and do sum shark and red fishin. This was my first time salt water fishing so I did not now what to expect. On the first day it only took 20 min. to get hooked up, so I'm battling this big black tip for about 15 min. and it started going belly up and acting like it was tired, so I peeked over the side of the boat , and the fish surged down pulling me down, balancing my body on the side of boat with the rod still in my hand! My grandpa quickly grabbed the rod and helpped me back on the floor of the boat.

On Sat. you had to literally almost push and shove to see what you wanted at the expo!

Me and my dad have a tourament on Norman on Sat. Today it was nice in the 70s, but on Wed. or Thur. it will be in the low 30 , and stay that way the rest of the week. Do you have any recomendations on what baits, techniques, and where I should fish?

my dad will be there at the expo with Britt Myers, you can by stuff and get free stuff too. For watching on the water stay about 60-70 yards away, and have fun! i wish i could go
