I've got a bunch of set ups and the only reels tht aren't 7.1 are my crank bait reels. But your frog and jig need to be 7.1

Used to be Davis but net bait bought them out. I throw the 1/4 ounce paca swim jig with either a zoom fluke junior trailer a gambler flapping shad (I think) or a zoom ultra vibe speed craw. Color doesn't matter as long as it's chartreuse and white. It's amazed me the places I've caught bass swimming a jig.

Hard to spend the money on the Denali when I can't hold it in my hands but for 50 I'd take a chance on the diesel

I've had a lot of different brand reels mostly in the 100-150 dollar range. When I used to sell fishing gear I used most everything in that price range. Had trouble out of a couple of citicas and daiwa Tierra's. Never fished pfleuger but had a few patriarchs that were missing parts from the factory. But I've never broken it had trouble out of a quantum. I've still got 6 quantum pt's I've been fishing for years but I'm not happy with the new quantum's I've fooled with. So take it for what you will but I'd love to have a truck load of the shiny blue and rainbow quantum reels

Looking to buy atleast two new rods one pitching and one swim jig after I broke both of my mojo rods.I've narrowed my choices down to the Abu Garcia veritas,duckett ghost or Powell diesel. All in the 7'3 mh configuration. I've gotten to play with the veritas and ghost. The Powell intrigues me though as I can get four for what I'll pay for two of the others and the reviews seem favorable. Anyone use the diesel rods?
