  1. Buy the best cry once. Get a curado hard to beat will be able to hand it down to your grand kids one day or if you don't like it you can sell it here to get most of your money back. Check the flea market tons of great deals.
  2. Chartreuse and white is the only color I own in a swim jig. The only thing I see happening (if the weather holds out) is the fish pulling of the main lake and getting farther back in the creeks. They were on main lake banks and points going into spawning areas. Couldn't get bit back in a creek or pocket
  3. Got a tournament in a few weeks and went to fish and scout around. Ended up hitting a few old spots and ran a bunch of new water and caught 17. The swim jig was on fire. No monsters but good solid fish on that lake
  4. I've got a buddy that's a cheap azz he buys a pack of the biggest swivels he can find threads the hook thru the head of the bait then slips both ends of the swivel over a wide gap hook to weight it then finishes rigging t
  5. You don't thread it thru lol Take the point of the hook poke it thru just like you were going to Texas rig it back it back out push the eye thru the belly back up thru te channel you made tie it on then rig it like normal and you are good to go
  6. Man I give up on baits that I know work not entirely sure why. I used to throw a Carolina rig with a lizard all the time. I tied one on earlier to throw tomorrow because I found a couple of packs of elaztec lizards that are supposed to float. Haven't thrown one in atleast a year or two. The football jig replaced it for me little but better quality fish atleast that's what it seems like.
  7. It may be good but seaguar red box runs around 10.50 here so I stick with that
  8. I throw the paddle tail fluke style baits on a weighted swim bait hook 3/0 for the smaller 5/0 for the bigger ones
  9. It isn't a collector gun by any means. Guy I know was going to take it to the pawn shop and told him I'd give him $20 more than whatever they offered.
  10. Depend on if I'm fun fishing or in a tourney. I've had a 5 fish limit of 12inch line burners that have won me money
  11. That puts you around 65lb braid doesn't it?
  12. You guys suck just spent 50 fishing stuff at walmart stupid clearance aisle. Then 65 on 9mm ammo and 20 on a kershaw knife to go in my tackle bag
  13. Is it worth while to do this on a new curado or chronarch? They should have excellent bearings from the factory
  14. Low of 50 tonight high of nearly 80 tomorrow I don't see how you'se survive up there
  15. The improved Albright is so simple I feel stupid for not using a leader on braid years ago. Make a loop in your flouro feed the braid thru the loop maketen ten twists around the flouro go back thru the original loop wet and cinch clip tag ends. I've yet to break the leader at the knot
  16. This has probably been covered and I'm definetly going to search it but what are the benefits to these handles
  17. Yeah you can't bend the extra wide gap h20's your rod or braid will break first
  18. I got out out with them today also was going to pick up some curados for me my uncle and dad. Only doing a one day sale alright fine whatever I drove 10 miles down the road and picked up 6 of them for 99 bps's loss
  19. I'm long winded what can I say
  20. Got to play with one today and all I can say is WOW!!!! It easily pitched farther than any of my curado's I've got a chronarch e in the mail kind of wish I would have waited and got the new curado but I may have to break down and sell one of my shotguns to get a couple. How do you feel the curado I stacks up to the chronarch e?
  21. Where do you live?
  22. Mine and my dad's stuff combined with a lot off hard baits mixed in. 3 walls of a 18x26 building floor to ceiling.assorted totes my closet in the spare bed room at my house if full. Boat storage full. Most of it will never see the light of day. I've got a tackle bag that holds 4 Plano boxes and about 40 bags of plastics. Mostly swimming flukes, money minnows, ultravibe speed craws, finesse worms, beavers, and seismic frogs. Couple of bags of slider worms and zoom finesse worms. One old dummy grenade just to be funny
  23. If I break down and buy a left hand chronarch or curado I'll have to learn to love it just hate to do that
