I got to play with the curado I and I'll say that with an 3/8 casting plug I could pitch wayyyy farther than any of the curados I've ever had. I don't know the ounce to gram conversion but I've got a curado 200g6 that I throw a weightless swimming fluke junior on and I can throw it farther than the lews speed spool I had with the same line. I'm not sure how the tournament pro handles but I give the nod to the curado I just because shimano makes a good product and have an excellent warranty. I've heard a couple of not so great stories about lews and there customer service

My curado's only have 5 I think and they are the smoothest reels I've ever fished

2500 ish in the last month or so on rods and reels only spent a couple hundred on lures and stuff. I trick myself with how much I spend on line and lures because I'll go buy 20 at academy 20 at Walmart 20 at gander mountain 20 at 2-3 local tackle shops during the week. In the last 19 years of fishing with artificial bait I don't think I've caught a fish on a senko. I know they work for some people but there's too many other baits that catch fish for me to fool with them.

When I buy new rods I end up buying new reels to put on them instead of using my old reels

Stupid sales. Got 3 curados for 99.99 each the other day. Got a new curado and two chronarch e series that should be waiting for me at the post office today.

7foot mh Powell rod 7.1 curado 65lb 1/4 ounce paca swim jig in spot chaser with a pearl ultravibe speed craw claws dipped in chartreuse dipping dye. I throw it into the nastiest crap I can find point my rod at te water and burn it back thru the grass. I find that I catch more fishing working the bait with my reel than the rod. The bait is movin so fast that when they hit it I just lean Into them and I rarely if ever miss a fish.

A bass lol. It never fails I'll catch a big "trash fish" in a tournament. Caught a 10lb catfish at lay on a crankbait 15lb buffalo on a crankbait a couple years ago in a big tournament for a buddies work Lost count of the big grinnel I've flipped up or caught on a buzzbait or frog. In dirty water piled up in a bunch of grass a grinnel will fool you. Got on a big school of spotted bass in a tough tournament and you had to catch several stripe before you hooked a spot. They usually hit while you've got a decent limit and need that kicker fish to put you over the top.

Been there done that just put it in a cardboard box in top of the closet and go buy a new one. But don't tell your wife/girl friend and just walk in the house like you've owned it forever

I can tell you how to catch them but you may not like it. We used to be members of some ponds that had f-1's stocked. Some days they would just shut down after the first hour or two of daylight. The trick was to catch several bream slightly smaller than your hand keep them alive in a cooler take a pear shaped cork about the size of an extra large egg and about 3 foot down the line put a 5/0 circle hook thru the breams back and toss him out. May not be the way you want to catch them but sometimes you've got to do what it takes. We caught 12 over 6lbs one day doing this. Heck come to think of it that bass from japan that tied the world record was caught like that.

Caught 17 on a swim jig today had a couple come up thru matted up grass and take it off the top it'll get your heart pumping. I feel for you'se guys up there.
