  1. I'm in tuscaloosa. Where are y'all fishing?
  2. I prefer the 1.5/100 size
  3. Take a wild guess who has a big hand In mlf
  4. It really looks more alive in your hands than it did when it was caught
  5. One of my buddies had a 250 ninja crotch rocket when he was 15 and he would strap two rods to that thing and ride It to my house so I would take him fishing. Funny as crap seeing him ride down the highway like that
  6. Atleast I hope not lol
  7. I've heard a lot of people love the pq and only know of a couple that had any kind of trouble and that was a simple fix.
  8. they feel like great rods but just knowing what I do about duckett i wouldn't own one
  9. I got to play with one a shimano rep had rigged up a few weeks ago and it was awesome. I could easily pitch a 3/8 casting plug farther than I could with my chronarch or curados. I think it's going to be a great reel
  10. I wouldn't fish with much less buy anything duckett has his name on. I'd rather put Obama stickers on my truck jeep and boat.
  11. It doesn't have anything to do with a fishing forum. If you owned a store would you want a customer to let you know that there item was miss priced by $50? I would but maybe that's just me
  12. As sharp as those hooks are you won't have a hard time penetrating a fishes mouth. I caught a 6 lb bass swimming an ultravibe speed craw on an ultralight with 4lb test last year with that hook. Can't count the number of fish I caught out of my ponds on that same setup
  13. Lord yes. As sharp as today's hooks are it doesn't take a stiff rod to set the hook especially with the low stretch fluorocarbon. I've got a few heavy action rods sitting in the corner gathering dust because I feel like a medium heavy has the power to set the hook while still having enough give to not rip hooks out and keep tension on a fish when they jump and shake there heads.
  14. What's great about it is even though it's small it still has enough weight to be able to throw on a baitcaster and has great hooks. hard combo to find in a bait that small.im hoping it will really shine when the bass are schooling on small shad and it's hard to catch them with anything else
  15. It's basically stealing if you are buying the next gen rods for $29 and you are the one who caused them to mark them like that.
  16. I used big game when I was fishing tournaments 2-3 times a month and changing line about once a week
  17. Suffix deep cranking is the best mono I've used for anything
  18. I was messing around at my pond the other evening with a new reel. I had already went around the lake with a crappie jig without a bite I figured they weren't biting took the 1.0 out of the box tied it on a preceded to catch 10 in half an hour. I picked up an extra to put in my panic box if I need a limit in a tournament.
  19. Excalibur xcs100 my favorite squarebill it catches fish anywhere anytime of the year
  20. I don't see that being crazy. It's an investment you buy good quality reels like those and you wouldn't have to buy another reel for 10-15 years unless you just decided to upgrade again. It's especially nice when all of your rods and reels match
  21. With the correct setup a swim jig with a weed guard is one of the fish catchinest baits there is
  22. I didn't care for the tatula. I've got a chronarch e7 but I'd probably get a curado I over the chronarch e.
