Your not going to get a "high end" reel for a 100

I've been catching them on grassy banks on the main lake leading into spawning areas.I was actually hoping for it to cool off a little this week and to make the bass pull back on the pattern they've been on the last couple of weeks instead of scattering into the back water.

My pfg and Columbia shorts look like those. Just not in a bunch of ***** colors

I like the palomar. But I burn my tag end with a lighter and it leaves a little bump on the tag end. I haven't had one slip in a long time if ever using the lighter

There's no doubt it's huge but it doesn't look 10 1/2 to me

I'd have to go somewhere and be able to actually hold the rod to see what it feels like. I took a chance on the Powell diesel rods rods because they were on sale for 50 but I couldn't spend that much on a rod and not know what it felt like

I can think of three times carrying saved my life and possibly my gf's life once. Had a bow hunter trespassing that drew his bow on us from a tree stand and didn't let down till after I drew my gun and told him I'd kill him if he didn't drop the bow and leave. A few weeks ago we were approached by a cracked out homeless guy that wanted me to give him money when I refused he got irate.Both of those times were in the last 6 months. They can take them from me when I'm dead but I won't turn them in and I don't see it happening in alabama. But you never know this country is going straight down the toilet

I've got plantar fascitis that can lead to bone spurs in your heels. Anyone try any of the "fishing shoes"? I've got inserts in my boots I wear when the weathers nasty and a pair of sperry top siders that do okay for the most part but I'd like to find something a little more durable and comfortable

I like the Powell diesel 7'6 medium heavy. I like my rod to have a little bit of give with braid so I don't rip the hook out.

I've got nice rods and reels for fishing out of the boat I'll normally take the 5-6 I actually need (usually only end up using 1-2 once I figure something out). If I'm just going to a pond I'll grab a little spinning reel maybe one of my older rods and reels I've retired

I'm going to have to add one of those to my collection. I've got a bunch of old lures from the 1920-1950 era. several old reels from the same time. What year's were those made?

Used to do this to buzzbaits to make them get that squeak. We would tie one to the antenna to break the blade in might get some crazy looks from other people though

I could agree if it was a pfleuger,quantum,etc because odds are when they break in 5-6 years parts will be hard to find. But when that curado breaks in 15 years there will still be parts for it. I think daiwa and shimano are about the two main companies that still have parts like that.

You'll like the h2o rods if you have an academy. If that "tire" strikes again they will swap it out no questions asked

I've noticed them pulling up in the grass on the main lake getting ready to move back in the creeks and pockets. Won't be long before they get on bed

If I don't catch 15 myself then I'm dissapointed. I'm usually fishing for better quality. Some tournaments I'm hoping to get 6-7 big bites a day. When the weather is right on a certain stretch of river if two people can't catch atleast 60-70 bass between 1-5lbs there in a day it's a bad day.

I don't know why I didn't mention it but you can't beat the powell diesels on sale for 50ish right now on a couple of online stores. I've got six and I'm about to order another one. I could fish more expensive rods but these fish out of there price range for me. I replaced all of my shimano compre's with these rods

I fished out of a float tube for years.some of the lakes I went to were really swampy and full of snakes so I think the kayak would be better. I fish 6-7 days a week. Big boat on the river in the weekends and in the ponds around town during the week so i think I'd get some use out of it. Do you prefer sit on top or the sit inside kind
