Chart/white swim jig with a white fat albert grub, black jigs, chatterbaits, buzzbaits.

Better Wide Gap Fluke Hook
3/0 or 4/0 gamakatsu Ewg. I use superline hooks if I'm looking for a faster fall

Braid!
I would use 30lb for all of your mentioned applications. For clear water I tie 15-17 fluorocarbon leaders for t-rigs, senkos, jigs, chatterbaits, and swim jigs. Straight braid for Topwaters and when fishing muddy water

Baitcast Reel That Did It For You
Its all about learning how to properly set whatever break settings are on the reel you're using and how to thumb the spool to prevent over runs. Having the new Aldebaren also helps

They work great and also seem to be a little more durable than a regular pit boss IMO

Leader To Braid
I use the Albright for tying my leaders. I usually tie around a six foot leader. One way I measure out the right length is by reeling the connection knot to the first guide and cutting the line where the tag end is even with the reel.

Line Conditioner
I've used both and the KVD really works wonders on fluorocarbon. I wasn't a big fan of the Reel Magic because it is not meant to be used on fluorocarbon.

Who Uses Spro Little Johns?
They're awesome cranks. I have a lot of luck on cell mate cranking rip rap when the water is cold. The Gamakatsu hooks they come with will stick anything that grabs them.

Bomber Cranks

Kansas Fisherman
Been a member for awhile now and never managed to introduce myself..My name is Anthony Preston. I grew up in SE Kansas in a small town called Hallowell. I live nearly in the middle of a fisherman's paradise with a number of strip pits being only miles from my house. Fishing the pits is a great way to learn any technique you could apply on a big lake. There are pits that are as deep as sixty feet as well as those that are fairly shallow so I have learned to fish both with great success...Any spare time or money I have goes towards fishing. It's great to be a part of this wealth of information! Is anybody else ready to catch those fat pre-spawn girls?

Most Memorable Fishing Moment?
Catching 200 bass in 2 days with my brother. Catching the bass in my profile picture on 8lb test and a finesse worm. A few casts later my brother Mike catches one pretty close in size off of the same point on the same lure. Night fishing last summer catching them on swim jigs, chatterbaits, and black jigs.

Dropping Brush Piles
How do you go about making the perfect brush pile? Where should I drop them? I would like to make some areas to catch bass and crappie. Any input is appreciated!

- What Rod Power Do You Use For Jigs?
7' or 7'3 MH/F braid with fluoro leader- Lew's Tournament Pro Or Shimano Curado I ... Vote!
Both are very good reels. I use the curado I for throwing spinnerbaits. X-ship gives this reel a lot of power and a very smooth retrieve. Curado I: Pros: X-ship, Gear longevity, Power, Casts well Cons: weighs more than tourney pro, Centrifugal Brakes only Tournament Pro: Pros: Lightweight, Smooth, Casts well, Dual braking system Cons: Aluminum gears(wear faster), not as powerful(IMO)- What Lube And Grease To Use For Reels?
Shimano Star Drag Grease is the best I have used. Best to Worst: 1. Shimano Star Drag Grease 2. Abu Garcia 3. Ardent Reel Butter- How Many Different Brands Of Rod And Reel Do You Own?
Rods: Abu Garcia, carrot stick, Wright and Mcgill, Fenwick, 13, Powell, and Kistler Reels: Abu Garcia, Lews, Shimano - What Rod Power Do You Use For Jigs?
