  1. I had good results with the pearl colored Keitech underthose conditions believe it or not.
  2. When healthy, I fish west central jersey. keitech, rapala minnow, firetiger spinners and blue gill swimbaits catch for me. If I can't go often, I cheat and shinners catch about every cast.
  3. sorry for not answering sooner, bu I have written before about medical problems. Well after only fishing a few times, I have to pull into the doc(k). I had another surgery last week and will need some more. The sad thing is that it is hard to even look at my lures. I am hoping to be able to walk some next year and my family will take me to the pond. will keep up with lures and can't wait till I catch my next fish.
  4. I am not getting technical, but I have real good success with the zoom horny toad. I just reel it in and they grab it about a foot from a bank. I have several other brands but the horny toad is easy, cheap and gets the fish.
  5. I do weightless, but I get really great movement on a Slider Spider Slider Heads by Charlie brewer. I twitch and let fall a little twitch/jerk etc.

  7. I use them all the time. I am handicapped and it is near impossible to tie lures on. I catch lots of fish. Sometimes I wonder if folks just want to brag on how they tie. If you catch fish, you catch fish. I also now use omega pro & bullet reels. I have very good spinning & baitcasting, but it is hard for me to cast right now. The bullet caste a mile and the omega pro is really smooth. I am just happy to be able to fish. If I can't use the omega etc., I will be at a pond with an old cane pole. Fishing is fishing for me. I am just glad I can still do it.
  8. The dd214 is not a password. It is one's discharge papers from the military. Call them up and give them your info if you are a vet or active and you will get the extra 10%. https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/catpage-SEASONSALE.html?from=basres

  13. Well I have many rods & reels. I am addicted to lures and tw's really had no sale. Since I have gift cards, I will wait although disappointed. Plus they can't figure out how to have a wishlist.

  18. Bored too
  19. I agree about limiting what you take to a couple of classes. Of course if you are not catching any, I understand wanting to go by an old standby. I usually take one class at a time one day a week or maybe 2. The other days I take more. Every week or week and a half, I use live bait. I love pulling one out after about every cast, but I get a thrill when I catch one on a new lure or new style.
  20. I agree with the hype about whopper ploppers, but the keitech has caught me a lot of fish. I am trying the jackall rhythm wave this spring. I hope they work well, but there are so many. I have a lot of fun trying new lures.
  21. collards posted a topic in Fishing Tackle
I was hoping to get some advice on the best shakey head worms and jigs you can use.
  22. I have been buying spinner baits lately. I have gotten the variety (Sk, booyah, Stanley. Eco pro tungsten,Picasso etc.). I have had a lot of action with the culprit twin willow in fire tiger. I have to attach the skirt with a tie though. I got some plano hydro-flow hanging lure box, but the dividers are hard to fit. I can't recommend it. With a tie, the $1.oo wal mart ones will work.
  23. I have always caught fish with the minnow. The silver & black one. I have many other rapalas, but the minnow has worked best for me. The scatter rap just doesn't cast right for me.
  24. rather the omega is not the 33. It casts pretty far and very accurate.
