I could've fit my hand in there! I appreciate it. I did expect more of a fight! Took under a minute to get in! It was a bone colored spook! Makes me wonder about that color! there's a few in that pond that make him look small! 20 pound test on a heavy rod! But thank you!

Was late to school do I figured I'd get in a little fishing before I left so went to the local pond. I cast my spook out and decided to tie something on my spinning rod, all of a sudden I hear a huge splash and see my rod going towards the water. I get a hold of the thing set the hook and I thought I had an absolute hoss. Got him about 15 feet from the bank and realized it was a carp, still a blast to catch though and a huge fight! He weighed 34 pounds!

My buddy caught one when fishing for bass that weighed 2.6! He got him on a square bill

I have a couple and I love them! I have a heavy and mh and the mh is a little whippy so that medium might be a little light! They are great rods though!

My grandpa was fishing for crappie a few years ago on lake fork. It was a blue bird day and an over cast rolled in and he said 7-8 huge bass he said the smallest had to have been at least 6-7 pounds, the biggest being close to 9. He said they were chasing baitfish but wouldn't give his minnow a glance. He's no slouch and hasn't told many big fish stories! I wish I could've seen it!

Just curious what rods you guys use. I went out with my grandpa and decided to throw one of his SK 10xd and that thing pulled like a freakin fish. I was using a mh falcon cara and I was pretty worn out after using it for a few hours! Do any of you guys use heavy rods for this application?

I think the if you can see them they can see you should be taken much more seriously when they're on beds! Atleast from my experience

Sb's are pretty much the only cranks I throw and im definitely looking to snag a few of these!
