I made about 30 cast with a wwcky rigged senko, and no bites threw on a finesse worm wacky rigged bam 3 pounder first cast!

I love fishing the weeds so for me thats a no!

Im wanting a nice reel to put on my Cara and the most im willing to pay is 300! Im really open to anything as far as brands go. The only thing I ever really throw is plastics so id like a 6:3 or a 7:1. And casting distance is a must!

Fish plastics as slow as you can!

i wish the golf course ponds I fish had some fish like that! the biggest fish ive caught there was under 2 pounds lol, I usually catch 20-30fish though so I cant complain!

Today I went out and I was only able to fish from about 2-6 so I couldn't fish my preferred times. I could barely buy a bite but I manage to catch a few. My question is though is there any lures you pond guys have more success on hot summer days more than others? I know there's no magic lure but you know!

I would say base the drag off your line strength and you'd want a heavy drag for a thicker wire hook then you'd want for a light wire hook so it's your call!

I used to use braid on my bait cast and i switched to mono because I liked the stretch to it! I ran out of mono so I spooled up some 20# braid. first cast I back lashed, and I thought oh that's nothing ended up having to cut out the whole spool with a pair of scissors and a razor blade. Not fun! Stick with 65-50

I only had to pay 45$ for mine!

The only fish I've got on a chatterbait is a drum! Buzz bait has not gotten hit once either!

I've had mine for I think 5 years now and it's still a great reel. My favorite thing about it is the consistency in the drag!
