  8. I think you misunderstood! He was on the verge of death, hence the snapped bill. And I know how strict they are about these fish so we put him back in the water!
  9. Me and my buddy were fishing the Arkansas river and we found a spoonbill trapped in a pool! We both sort of wrestled him out, but his bill was snapped and we proceeded to put him out of his misery! Still neat though

  11. i know its some what frowned upon but, i also know many people love it! the other day i was at the local river and the fished moved very shallow and i probably saw over 60 fish and only managed to catch nine. i caught them all on a weightless tube but this weeked me and a few buddies are havig a little "tournament" and before the other day ive never sight fished so please tell me what you know!

  13. So far I've caught 22! The 3 I'm proud of were 7.5 and 2 that were over 5!
  14. Because I always want to throw what has the best chance of catching me a linker! I also have a tendency to question lures and I'm doing that now lol,
  15. A majority of the time when I'm cranking I'll throw a rick clunn or a kvd 2.5 but I'd like to get some that are maybe a little more top notch! Thanks guys

  19. I don't think you can really accurately compare shooting a caged animal to catching a monstrosity of a bass in a pond. I say that only because you're much more likely to shoot that animal than catch that fish, will you most likely catch some enormous fish, yes. Catch the record, no. By no means do I think it should count as the official record, but I do believe that is an accomplishment to be remotely proud of, just because of all the work put in and I don't believe there's a single person on this website that would be less than ecstatic to catch a bass of that caliber. Putting it up for the record is another story!

  21. My dad has a bunch of the original gene larew craws which are older that me and I'm 17 and they have caught me many bass! Still smell nice and funky too!
  22. Just the other day, I was flipping in submerged trees and i got line wrapped around my finger and I threw it out, barb went all the way past the skin! Luckily I pulled it right out!

  24. me and a buddy went out on a small lake today is his two man! Had a blast caught 9 fish today! All small though and I was able to catch my first spotted bass, got her on a weightless magnum fluke in baby bass!
