Caught a nice one yesterday afternoon !! Caught in a football jig on a hump in 15 fow. 8lb 4 oz..

Got to fish an hour or so before dinner and caught 14 all on a spoon off a ledge. Man it's great to be back on the bend. Gonna hit it early for a couple of hrs. Then back to the camp for a little work and family time .. ?

Good day on the bend with my old man !! Caught over 50 with 5 lbs being the biggest. Caught fish deep cranking , Carolina rigging and spoons ... Fun day 12 to 25 fow.

Fished yesterday and found fish busting shad. May have been a shad spawn taking place. I could see pods of shad on the surface and hungry bass taking and easy meal. Caught fish on crank baits Carolina rigs and spoons. Evens caught a couple on jerk baits. Better action was in the morning and then slowed throughout the day. Caught around 30 with 5lb being the biggest..

I've caught fish south and north the past few days !! Caught a bunch of good fish and also caught a lot of keeper fish that I kept to clean for a fish fry.. Cleaned 20 yesterday and all but two had eggs. There are a lot of fish that haven't spawned yet. All of the bigger fish were prespawn also. Next couple of weeks should have a lot of fish spawning !! ??

Fish are in all stages !! Fish your strengths. Had a good day today and had a steady bite all day. Caught some shallow fish and moved a little deeper and caught fish too. I just think the fish bit today. It was nice not having to fight the wind !!

Fished yesterday and today till lunch. Yesterday day caught some good fish in the Indian mounds punching . Best 5 close to 20lbs. Not many bites but they were good ones. Today fished San Miguel and only managed 8 till noon. Most caught in the bushes and a couple on a blade. Man there was a lot of traffic !! Lol

if you can't get bit in the bushes I would try fishing banks that you could actually get to. There is so much water between the bushes and the bank that you won't be able to fish !! Just a thought..

Not much fishing time today !! Only 3 1/2 hours till the storms ran me off. Waited an hour or two in the truck and finally gave up. Ended up with 10 fishing drains in housen looking for a big one . Couple on Carolina rig lizard and some on flukes and senkos . Just when it was about to bust loose. Now we have to deal with high and muddy water !! Hope it doesn't take long to settle back down..

I can't take it anymore !! I'm headed down tonight !! Hopefully can get some fishing in before it gets to bad !! I can live with rain and wind but not the thunder and lightening ..

I can't wait till this darn spawn is over. I would much rather catch em deep in the summertime !! Looks like I'm gonna have to brave the weather Tuesday and Wednesday and yank on a few.??

It has been tough out there since the last cold front and rain. Water is muddy in a lot of places. Talked to some guys that fish it a lot and they are only catching 3 to 5 a day. Won't be long though !!

Plans to head south this morning didn't happen. Wind was blowing pretty good this morning so decided to stay north. Caught 9 flipping by noon, kinda slow. So made a change and went deeper. Caught 14 after noon until the front blew in at 3:45. All fish were caught in 15 fow on football jigs. Full of eggs. They have got to be making a move in the near future !!

Fished today and ended up with 14. All fish were caught flipping bushes. Fished 1215 .. Solons area. Headed south to try my luck tomorrow. All fish caught today were between 3 and 4 lbs and full of eggs...

Just got back from the bend.. Shallow water patterns sucked for me. Must have been the high pressure. (Just need an excuse )..... Did get on a deep water bite and caught 19 with a couple of 4s and a five. 15 to 20 fow on a football jig. This warm weather should have them on the move.

Fished 1215 this afternoon. Fish were not really active. Hope the wind lays a little so I can move around.

Ended up with 13 today. Better fish were caught flipping up to 4 lbs. caught some late afternoon on a shad colored trap. I hope tomorrow is better ahead of the front.

Headed that way tomorrow afternoon and Monday !! Looks like a may need to lower my expectations..... ??

Squeaked in with the last check in the bfl yesterday. Man what a tough day. Didn't get a bite until 1. Had to scrap my game plan After lunch and salvaged a 29 place finish with just under 14 lbs. Found a couple of points that were holding some fish. Caught all fish dragging a football jig.
