Fished a little in San Miguel this weekend with the kids and found a couple of bream beds!!! Did get to slip off for a couple of hrs. to do a little bass fishing. Caught a couple on some points with a Carolina rig. I love fishing deep and graphing. It's almost that time. Did find a couple of areas with some good grass starting to grow. I think I could read the pages on toledo bend a hundred times and not remember all the great info that has posted. I'm ready for us to break down San Miguel creek since I'm gonna start there and learn that creek first. I got my map ready !!!!!

Anyone have any pointers for the San Miguel area. Just bought a camphouse and want to learn the creek. Going to be there all weekend!!! Also gonna try a little night fishing.

Fished yesterday caught 16 mostly bed fishing for 18 lbs. fun day but a lot of empty beds. A lot of fish just cruising. Going to be spending a lot more time on the bend. Just bought a camp at the mouth of San Miguel !!!

With all the rain do y'all think tomorrow would be worth a 2hr drive. Not suppose to be to windy so may try to find some sight fish !!!

Headed that way tomorrow wanna fish a new area. Wanna do some sight fishing tomorrow since the winds are suppose to be light. Any suggestions ??

Late report Fished last Thursday and Friday in housen and six mile and caught about 20 both days. Thursday had about 16 lbs and Friday had about 18 lbs. Caught everything in 4 to 10 fow. All on senkos without a weight. Couldn't catch em on anything else. Saw a little bedding activity but not as much as everyone else.

Wow !!!!! What a thread. So much knowledge to decipher but fun . My wife wants me banned from this web sight. Fished Monday in the patroon area and also 1215 area. Results were not impressive. Caught 4 fish all day with 6lbs being the biggest. Water temps were 52 main lake to 58 in protected areas by days end. We need SUN !!!!!! Thanks for all the teachers, hope I can contribute and do my part to keep this thread a winner !!!
