I believe your in good shape and will be fine. In #2 i prefer 14 or 16 lb sniper, but that’s just me. Good luck.

You have your tournament guys down to the once a month bank angler in this tournament. This year there were 46 anglers participating with only 17 weighing in fish. For my 2nd place finish I won an 8ft Bass Hunter boat and trolling motor. There will be a write up in Bassin Magazine due out later this month. Or checkout their Facebook page.

Yes Jason won. I did place 2nd. They had a nasty cold front blow in making for very tough fishing. But it was a cool experience.

I would fish the first lake you mention. Id start by pitching a 3/8 brush jig/trailer in all that wood. If you weren't 8 hours away, I'd come up there Saturday and help you fish it

I like flouro, but also like mono and braid. Ived used sniper in 14, 16, 18, and 20lb never had any negative issues. This year been using sunline shooter defier armilo nylon in 13 and 15 on two setups and it's an excellent line. Also use braid on a few setups. I did have some issues with cheap flouro in the old days but not with sniper. I also tried yozuri hybrid and cxx in the past and did not like ether. To me yozuri felt like a rubber band, while cxx had more memory issues than grandma.

Happened to me once. Fishing from my bass hunter ona small golf course pond. Caught them on a manns baby 1-minus. Where about 1.5 lb each.

Caught a bakers dozen this morning, with the largest coming on a 5 3/8 " BPS Stick-O, green pumpkin violet fleck. 5lbs 6 oz.
