  1. Nice bass. Just curious, what are your water temps?
  2. I have the jig and worm ZX and don’t recommend pushing the rated weights for this rod. 1 oz is to much imo. You’ll snap it unless totally babying the cast. This rod works well for what it’s built for, in its ratings and is pretty sensitive. I like a nice balanced rod in hand and I found this rod to be a bit tip heavy. I did add weight to the butt section and enjoy using it more now.
  3. I only throw the 110, which weighs in at 1 oz. I use 40 lb braid, 6.3:1 BC, on a 7’3” graphite MH M rated 1/2 to 1 and 3/8. Works well for me.
  4. I shave my head, so I wouldn’t be of any help....
  5. Welcome, enjoy the forums!
  6. Beast of a bass, awesome job gentleman.
  7. They all work well, four inches isn’t gonna make a difference.
  8. Yeah pretty cool. I have the black gill, green frog and red frog. With the red frog being more orange than what it appears in the TW photo. But I like that.
  9. Exactly ^ Have a few of these already, very nice frog. Should be a big hit in my waters.
  10. Beast of a bass, nice going!
  11. Over four decade Yankees fan, should be a fun year!
  12. Been antsy for a couple months now. Tomorrow will be my first trip this year, all pumped up! Weather says Mostly sunny, high around 49* for my area.
  13. Along with these two, I’ll add chameleon.
  14. Spro Rat 50 size =2.5 oz. The 40 size which I like and recommend is 1 oz and retails for $25.
  15. Been using the Norman Speed Clips for years now. They work well for me.
  16. Cool, I like it.
  17. None of this ^ for me also. And I fish clear waters. Some other techniques/ lures not used/done: Any thing over 1.5 oz, a-rig, chatterbait, Deep cranks, and others I don’t care about.
  18. I use 40 lb braid, plenty strong enough and works well for me. My waters have good visibility, at least 3’ on bad days up to 10’ , And I don’t use leaders, they are for humans with mental problems.
