  1. In more detail.. I love the length. Good mix of casting distance and shortness for tight quarters. It's a true fast action. Sensitivity w yo zuri hybrid 12lb was amazing. I could feel every piece of structure perfectly. I'd rate it a little over my ***. Grip is great on the handle. The reel seat lets your index finger lay perfectly and comfortably on the lock nut and it seems it helps sensitivity. Has a strong backbone. It winched a 2lb 9oz today with a few pounds of salad even tho I thought all the vegetation would be gone but nope. Lol it's quickly becoming my new favorite rod.
  2. I just got the smallmouth 6'9 mh casting about a week ago and fished it today. I love it. The only problem was you could feel the reel moving in the reel seat. I went home and it was an easy fix. Now it's in there with no movement and I'm super pleased w it.
  3. I never used spike it...but jj's. I smelt it as soon as i got it frow TW. Woah. its stronger then anything i've ever smelt. Burns your nose. But I've noticed I get more hits. Atleast it seems like it. look it up on youtube. I believe it works
  4. It's sad to say but honestly if he made the site terrible in every way, I'd still be on here every. single. day.. lol i like the new look. thanks!
  5. http://www.sportsmansoutfitters.com/daiwa-tatula-freshwater-baitcast-fishing-rods/ 6'10 mh/f tatula rod. 12,000 pennies.
  6. Go to menards and get a viper kayak. My buddy got one on sale for 125 and it's wide and roomy for a sit in kayak. I think regularly they are 200.
  7. I have the zx frog Rod. 7'3". Rod is perfect for frogs and moss. I use it for frogs, rats, mice, buzzbaits, and small swim baits. The grips are the nicest grips I've ever felt and it balances well w a reel. And I'm pretty sure it's on sale for 80. Highly recommend it
  8. Well it's going to be a helium 3 or a custom from dvt. Either macro or micro. And to the guys that think I should just use more inexpensive stuff.. Sure it will work but bass fishing is one of the best things in life and life's short so I don't have a problem taking 500 out of saving for a combo for the extra enjoyment of the performance. Why settle with an average girl when you can have a smokin girl? Sure they feel the same but the hotter one is better. Lol
  9. Well I'm a senior in high school and I'm thinking since I've had college classes (graduating with associates) play football, wrestle, work at Dairy Queen, cut grass and power wash houses...etc I'm gonna get myself a new rod. I'm wanting to spend about 150-275 on a 6'10"-7'3" mh/f preferably with micro guides. All I care about is sensitivity and reliability. I've been considering Cashion, Kistler helium 3, tfo gloomis red, Powell max 3d, Fenwick aetos, OR contact a custom builder probably DVT to build my own. What's your opinions? Thanks
