What is the best way to get the fish biting on slow days? This has been a problem for me in the past and im hoping there is something I can do so I dont go home with no catches.

Can I throw soft body frogs on an abu 6'6 rod? thanks. Also, what line would you guys recomend for throwing a soft body frog in a clear shallow river with little weed growth but some moss on the water surface.

Are there any rod or reel requirements for braided line. I own an abu garcia black max low profile and some cheap spinning reel made by okuma bought from sports authority. The rod on the okuma is 7' i believe but since im interested in soft body frog fishing, ive read that braid is a neccessity. Also, i have 10 pound flourocarbon on the abu and 8 pund mono on the okuma.

yes I normally use a crankbait or senko and there are LOTS of bass there

I fish a golf course river that has crystal clear water and is 4 feet at its deepest. I was wondering if a spinnerbait would work at a spot like this and what color would be necessary. I own a booyah spinner bait in chartreuse with gold blades but im not sure if that would work at that spot. Any advice would be great.

I cant seem to find those hooks on tackle warehouse. Are there any other hooks you would recomend for the softbody frogs that I can find on tackle warehouse?

Im new to frog fishing and Im thinking about getting into it. Before I buy anygear made for it, I first want to try out a softbody frog. What do you all think of the zoom horny toad and which colors do you recommend for clear shallow water. Im also wondering if its better to have a weighted hook. Thanks
