A truer finesse reel is one with true shallow spool.

You can use heavier fluorocarbon in the 8-10 pound range and still go down to 1/16 oz, so it makes pulling fish out of cover easier. Its a lot more fun to use than regular spinning in a lot of people's mind. Yes it stands for bait finesse.

No wonder I am getting skunked bass fishing. I was using Megacarp not Megabass. Vision 110 Jr, MB F4-68X7, FX68L Viola Shooter FC Sniper 12 pounds. She sucked the lure in during a pause.

I was using IMX CR722 for a long time casting 1/8 oz things (measured) with a KTF spool/HedgeHog Air Bearings Metanium 13. It went down to 1/16 oz okay, but you kind of have to whip it out so it wasn't particularly accurate. My advice to you would be that you should try to find a Core50 or Aldebaran 50 for 200 or less, and spend good money on the spool for 100 or so.

Megabass Zonda Rosso Limited Reel Vs Daiwa 105
You are paying for the cosmetics when you buy Megabass reels. The performance difference is minimal and mostly spool based.

Shimano Vs Lews
I had mine for good 2 years and none of that happened. You can't be serious about seeing few of cases on Internet forums and call this problem "well known", just like how I don't believe Lews reels have these "wide spread" issues. I think you are overreacting by the tone of your posts.

Shimano Vs Lews
Maybe Shimano cares about fixing that in future reels so they asked him to send it in? How is it a joke to want to fix things in future reels that could be a problem? Do you want to keep having to replace the new handles in future models?

Shimano Vs Lews
I think X-Ship makes a huge difference in smoothness, especially under load. I would just get the Citica I if I am fishing freshwater.

Shimano Metanium Set Up Questions
White ones are lighter than the red ones. You can leave 3 on and 3 off in a balanced fashion for general casting.

Aluminum do flex... Not under circumstances you would incur in day to day fishing settings, but neither will graphite.

Daiwa Alphas Sv Or Megabass Fx68
T3s are the most polarizing reel in the Daiwa platform. People either hate it or love it.

Major Difference In Cheap Reels And Expensive Ones (Other Than Gear Ratio)
Okay, what I thought he means. I just have much better success in terms of distance, when I back off the tension knob to the point that you do not have any side to side movement from spool. I think tension knob is such a crude tool, applying exact same pressure on the spool no matter what part of the casting stage you are in. I much prefer to set the centrifugal and magnetic to the point that I feel the most comfortable and feather the spool based on the need during each stage of the cast.

What do you mean by set right? I usually set mine to the point where I don't feel any side to side movement of the spool. I have used reels that I didn't have any pressure applied to the spool with tension knob, and it was perfectly fine.

If you like the spool free, then ditching the tension knob will get it more free than turning off the breaking system. Perhaps I wasn't clear on what I meant.

Why are you setting the tension knob and turning off the breaking system. It makes more sense to me to learn how to feather the spool and use the breaking system instead of applying a constant limiting pressure that from tension knob.

2 Piece Rods
Not every single one of them goes all the way I think... I have seen those in action, and I am pretty sure they had that gap. I kind of want to order one of these whippy rods for BFS, so I can cast light plugs/spoons better for Trout around my area. Edit. Here is a video of it, time stamped when you can get clear view of the rod connection. https://youtu.be/wVv8QOAQJI8?t=183

South Korea Fishing Advice
Doyo reels should be pretty nice. American folks will know them by the name of "Abu Garcia", "Pflueger". and "Lews" . They really are sweet reels though.
