Top Lures[Your Opinion]
I didn't see any post like this from conducting a brief search so I figured I could make one. Given what you are fishing for and the category, what're your GO-TO lures? Whether you're fishing for bass, pike or catties; post 'em up. Bass Topwater: Boo Ya Pad Crasher; Zoom Horny Toads[zero luck with either yet this year, frustrating] WINNER-->Jigs: Mister Twister Yellow Twister Tails[bounced of bottom or brought up through moving water. caught all my bass & walleye with it this year] Cranks: Minnow Crankbait; Rebel Crawfish Drop Shotting: Watermelon Finesse Worm; Senko; Leeches[zero luck catching so far, had one bite with a senko] I see all this talk about brush hogs and what not so I'll definitely have to try that out as well. I recently got a jig with the skirt and put a trailer on it but I haven't had success yet but I love the way it looks so I'll never give up on it. Also, when I drop shot; I don't use a palomar and tie it directly to my line. I use Eagle Claw Baitholders with the pre-tied hook and tie that on my line with the weight below it. Does anyone else do anything like this? Hopefully I lure ya'll in to this post rather than spook ya'll.

Pond Fishing
So today I decided to fish in a local pond for the first time and let me tel ya, I don't know how some of you guys do it. There were a bunch of spawning bass along the shorelines but they were babys BUT with that being said, no matter if I threw top water or a jig it'd come back covered in underwater moss and reeds that were a centimeter below the surface. I could one bite when I threw a senko into some cover but aside from that, I was reeling in pond scum consistently. I *** you guys because it's just not my cup of tea

How To Detect Strikes On A Slack Line?
Well I went to my other good spot and the water was WAY up, it was crazy. A bunch of fish, assuming carp, were surfacing and making quite a splash

Post Heavy Rain...do I Fish?
Well fellas, what're your thoughts on fishing directly after a really heavy rain? I'm talking like two inches and the creek/pond/river is muddy. It's starting to clear up and i just need to throw some lures in but I'm not sure if it's worth wasting time throwing into this. I don't know, I need to do some thinking. No such things as days off on the water!

Must Have Smallmouth Lures?
It's crazy. I've thrown my cranks and lipless cranks, spinners and topwater but haven't gotten a BITE yet. Yellow twister tail though, I'll catch with it.

If You Could Pick Only One Creaturebait
I'd rather deal with vegetation than car sized rocks under the surface haha

If You Could Pick Only One Creaturebait
Yeah, I hear you. I get beyond frustrated b/c there are plenty of big smallies where I go but it's snag city if you don't get out to the good spot.

If You Could Pick Only One Creaturebait
I'm assuming ya'll are primarily fishing these in lakes and from boats, correct?

Attention All You Susquehanna River Guys
Wow, I've been bank fishing various places near Falmouth & the Southgate bridge and was landing walleye left & right last week. Haven't had any luck as of the last three days though.

What's On Your Mind Today, Fishermen?
Can't catch a cold as of late. Had a bass and a walleye hooked today but they got off as I was lifting them from the water....it's like ordering a shake at McDonalds and they tell ya' the machines aren't working. Nothing worse!

Mega Lure Assistance
BassResource, These are the lures that I have and I've only had success with the yellow twister tails. Can someone assist me on the rest of the lures and ways to fish them? I have quite a few plastics and I see you guys talk about the specific times you use them based on colors so let me know if you want more information on them. I rarely throw the plastics[except for the NetBaits b/c I use that as a trailer on my jig. I just want to know the best times to use them. I separated the pictures by cranks, top water, my spinnerbait and my plastics. ALSO, I tend to night fish and am curious what I should use at night[OTHER than the Jitterbug]. I fish rivers and the bottom is big rock.
