Chronarch MGL vs SV103
Anyone by chance spend time with both of these? Cant decide. As far as what technique im not sure. Just a good all around baitcaster i guess. will likely use for some cranking, spinnerbait, buzzbait, etc.

Favorite crank bait Rod
Powell diesel 705cb glass has got the job done for me the past few years. I throw lipless, shallow, mid, squarebills on it. Ill upgrade it soon just for the heck of it tho to something nicer

6.4 or 7.1?
Either. Both r pretty quick ive gone to all 7.1 for everything except the deeper diving cranks

PQ2, The new "best $100 reel"?
Thing looks identical to a Lews

GLX rods. Worth the $?
Awesome. For this setup i probably need a 3power. Usually dont use over a 3/8oz tungsten weight.

GLX rods. Worth the $?
Which model glx do u use for soft plastics? Not sure if i should go with a mh/extra fast or the heavy/fast

GLX rods. Worth the $?
Ive been fishing texas rigs/soft plastics with a Powell Max 683. Which to me is pretty sensitive but i figure i can find something a little more sensitive.

GLX rods. Worth the $?
Handled a couple of the newer GLX recently. very impressive. Just wondering are they worth that price tag? Ive seen a couple slightly used here and there for a pretty good deal and have been considering grabbing one for mostly a soft plastics/texas rig setup. Seems ive read some guys arent fans of the handles

Chronarch mgl for moving baits?
Thx for the info! Sorta leaning towards the chronarch i like the use of brass gears also. Can always grab a Met for another setup

E7/Scorpion XT1500 or curado I
Nothing wrong with the I. Easy to get setup right. Casts great. Smooth.

Chronarch mgl for moving baits?
I know theres already a few posts on this reel vs the Met mgl but reading in some forums that most guys seem to prefer the chronarch for moving baits vs the 13 met and the mgl. Was curious if the guys on this board feel the same and why? Looking to purchase one or the other for throwing moving baits

Anyone like Powell Rods?
Never touched an Inferno but from what i read theyre pretty solid. I have an older Max 683 and like an above poster said its ridiculously versatile. I usually throw my texas rigs on it. I got excited when the max 3d was released but realied the put the sk2 reel seat on them which i cant stand

I'm the only person in the world who hates Lew's
I HATE lews. I drank the Lews kool aid a few yrs back when i got into baitcasting reels. Everyone praised the tournament pro. So i ordered one and also a super duty. When the package arrived i almost thought it was some sort of strange joke when i held the reel. Just felt so cheap and fragile. Even the lews emblem was halfway peeled off. There was nothing great about performance either. Had issues with the braking system after a few days as well. After i realized they were made by pure fishing or whatever and share parts with tons of other reels i got rid of em and went to daiwa and shimano.

falcon bucoo sr
From what ive read these new Bucoo SR are made in china

Powell Nusance rods
Nothing against their rods i own an original max 683,a diesel and endurance. Just wish theyd go back to the ecs reel seat for one thing. Also the nusance spinning rod is a nice blue color. Wish theyda done that with the casting models

Powell Nusance rods
Cant find much info on these. Has anyone tried one? Not an sk2 reel seat fan and that color is blah. Wish theyd make an Endurance 3d or something

Curado I vs Chronarch E which is the better reel?
I go back and forth over which i like more. I dont particularly care for the white and black paint job i prefer the green on the curado. No complaints with the I series great reel. Go with whatever one handles better for u if u can check out both

Daiwa SV103
Yeah i guess the weight is an issue for some. I used to not care until i started fishing some lighter weight rods, etc but i dont think this reel would be a deal breaker for me.
-
Daiwa SV103
Ima keep a lookout. Soon as a deal pops up ill probably grab one

Daiwa SV103
Anyone own this reel? Thoughts? I like the OG Zillion frame much more than the T-wing stuff. I know wveryone wants a lighter reel these days but im thinking of trying one of these
