up to 200 bucks there are probably better options but the carbonlite is a good rod. right now my highest end rod is a powell max but im shopping around some myself. youre gonna get some good suggestions on here im sure. u may want to look at the dobyns champion or powell endurance also

mines silky smooth now. out of the box was way overgreased. i was scared i got a lemon. just gotta break it in. im definitely picking up another one when i get another rod

been using mccoys clear blue fluorescent copolymer. hooked a 6 pounder a couple days ago that put up a good fight. went fishing yesterday and noticed my line is all wavy and when i fish a texas rig and lift my rod it always wraps around the top guide. is this just typical line stretch? it was 15lb test. until this year ive mostly fished braid but wanted to try something different. i do hav a small spool of sunline armilo i havent tried but i prefer the visibility of the blue line

mine felt that way but after i fished it awhile it feels much smoother now.
