i notice a few alabama guys on here some. anyone fish around gulf shores alabama? my family own a condo there and im gonna probably stay there a few times a year. last time i went i went to a tackle shop and got some info on some public places to fish. was wondering what fish do u typically catch out there and what would be a good saltwater setup (rod/reel) ? any info would be appreciated. thanks

im lookin at those phenix glass rods as well. stumbled upon Cousins rods while looking at TW. they make a nice looking glass rod im looking at as well

new Citica if they releAse one will probably pick up another Curado I series also possibly a Metanium or 13 ***

so what new rods are u guys considering purchasing this year? ive kinda put the fishing mindset aside during deer season and now that its almost over im already thinking of fishing. probably gonna upgrade a rod or two. wanting to check out the fenwick elitetech bass rods and the Avid X for sure. the new falcon lowrider 20 and powell max3D caught my eye as well

anyone have experience with this rod? lookin to upgrade a couple rods this season. never owned a st croix but always heard the avid was a great rod for the money. figured the new model would be even better

i had a lews tourney pro and a super duty. really like the super duty. the TP initially was great but After a few weeks got to where i was backlashing almost every cast even with the brakes turned up a good bit. i do prefer shimano tho i love my 200E7 and I series

look At the Lamiglas Excel 2 rods at that price point

my brother in law has that reel. he likes it. has held up a long time

anyone have experience with the new falcon cara 20 casting rods? saw these at a local shop. very sharp looking and balance well. considering tryinf one

classifieds and ebay. i picked up one from a member on here a few months ago. hard to beat these reels

was at the beach a cpl weeks ago and went to a tackle store and they a whole aisle of inshore rods and noticed a shimano teramar casting rod i nearly bought on the spot. reasonable price very nice looking rod. anyone own one?
