the curado i IMO casts like a dream. and long effortless casts. itll give u all the distance u need. i love this reel

thefishranger however theyre out of stock on quite a few. depending what model youre lookin for

the powell diesel glass rod. will it handle 5/8 lures well? just ordered a spro fat john and didnt realize it was rated 5/8. the rod is rated up to 1/2oz. i know it isnt much difference but was just wondering. thinking about picking up another glass rod to handle the heavier cranks

i love it. super sensitive and light. right now usin mine mostly for light t-rigs and senkos. paired up with new curado. having fished a jig with it yet tho

i started using sunline fx2 and its a tad noisy but not near as noisy as some others ive tried

anyone own one of these? i noticed it was outdoor lifes editors choice last year and has greatcreviews on tw. not sure i wana spend that much at the moment but may consider it a sale or two down the road. was just wondering if anyone owns one and what are your thoughts

i have that reel i use mine for spinnerbaits and buzzbaits right now.

id pass on the berkley. most everyone finds themselves going back to powerpro after they try other stuff. however right now i have some sunline fx2 that i love.

guess im still looking for my "it" rod. cant go wrong with any powell rod. glad u love the new rod man.

has anyone fished with some of the different Lews reels and decided on which is the best? i own the tourn pro and super duty. ive considered getting a regular speed spool due to the rebate. what r the advantages of say the tournament speed spool or the tournament mg vs the speed spool
