  1. Both of the above are good choices too! ^^^
  2. Maybe a tube, maybe trick worms? There really isn't a best.
  3. What did I just watch... Hahaha
  4. Next time I go fish and hook one I'm gonna say oooo this is a big ole sunfish, then when I get back to the ramp I'm gonna tell storys of the 5lb sunfish I caught and released haha
  5. It sucks because banks lake doesn't produce but a few big fish every year and now this beauty is dead. Wish I knew what the total cost of those 5 tickets were haha!
  6. I would post a picture of the fish put I don't wanna put some strangers faces on the internet without their permission haha the only two pictures I know of is one with the cheater and one with two officers holding it.
  7. Ive caught probably every bass we stocked in our pond more than once but its a small pond.
  8. Now a days the PB & nutella is all the rage! It is my go to fishing lunch haha
  9. KVD 1.5 I think... Or maybe it was a 12inch ole monster. Lol I don't remember
  10. You talk about how you like to use the 2# due to the water clarity, but would some flourocarbon or just a leader of some sorts work just as well while still keeping a little more strength? Just curious
  11. I've built a lot of confidence in fishing braid with a FC leader in any water clarity now... But I'm trying to get away from this and start fishing straight braid in non-clear situations...
  12. I'm surprised that not a single person put a vote in for the C-Rig, during the summer its a game changer on most lakes...
  13. I remember watching this video awhile back and I've wanted to try to learn fly rod fishing ever since!
  14. Well I was gonna do a bass tournament last week on Saturday but family was visiting and I decided to wait and do a different one. Well I'm glad I didn't sign up. Basically what happend was this 2 man team was fishing and saw some people who weren't entered in the tournament catch a 11.5lb bass and bought it off them for 250$ so they could win the tournament. They eventually got ratted out and the trophy largemouth got confiscated, they had to return all prize money, and they received 5 citations haha They had to go and ruin a tournament for all the people who signed up (which was a lot more than normal surprisingly). Tournaments on this lake during the summer are basically won by whoever can catch a 5 fish limit so that one near 12lb bass was enough to win. Cheaters are scum on this earth.
  15. Idk, Eric Clapton maybe??
  16. Yes I would reccomend these baits too! They make some great squarebills
  17. You should have just cut the line as short as possible and threw him back, then at least he has a chance at living. He has a 0% chance without a head! Haha
  18. My grandpa cast my curado and it backlashed and he lost his grip and off it went rod and all!
  19. Paul McCartney playing everything
  20. They look good to me man! I never bothered tying skirts on jigs, I've done it with spinnerbaits though
  21. Well whatever you do stay safe haha don't go rock climbing
  22. Haha omg, that guy with one arm was like "I had a five pounder but my hand slipped off the reel handle!" Then he holds up his stub! Hahahahahahahahaaha ooomg that was funny
  23. Yeah I'd grab the line to... I won't grab a line if I'm within reach of the fish but it may be your only option... I would just be scared to snap my rod reeling up a 4lb+ bass
  24. I've caught a lot more bass in pads than mill foil but that's because I fish pads alot more...
