  1. 2002 voltzwagon beetle..... Just kidding we got a Chevy and a Toyota haha
  2. Nope no insurance on the Jon boat.... We were just talking about getting some then other day, maybe we should
  3. The only top water I' have cofidence in 100 degree bluebird skies is a buzzbait or soft plastic working as a buzz bait... Sometimes frogs work but I don't have confidence with em away from morning/evening
  4. seems like some times its just meant to happen and sometimes the bass just doesn't grab the whole bait... Try pushing the hook all the way out the plastic then barely tucking it back in, I do it and I think it helps but not sure its called texa-pose or something haha
  5. Lol well I'm going fishing still tomorrow! I guess I'm gonna go out in the thick pads and grass and just paddle and drift! Haha I can use my papas boat but at the moment it needs something fixed on it ( go figure )
  6. Idk man maybe, it was half ass put on there I guess and fell off on the highway... Ugggh I'm just so tired of buying crap for the two boats we got
  7. It was on the boat when I loaded it on the trailer 100% sure like 3 hours after I got home I went outside and it was gone.
  8. Well I had to bank fish for a bit because my trolling motor fell apart so I saved up 250$ to get a new one and bought a Minn kota. Haven't even had it for awhile and it ethier fell off on the highway or got stolen. Like seriously I could run through a brick wall right now.
  9. Flourocarbon will work fine in cover but braid will preform better in really thick cover due to strength and ability to cut through grass so efficiently. Rod is gonna depend on what your fishing and where your fishing it. Using braid doesn't mean you need a rod with give necessarily
  10. I'm with Catt I don't really peg my weights...
  11. My 13 year old cousin has been begging me to go fishing so I finally got around to taking him today, we couldn't buy a bass bite all day! We tried everything... I saw he was disappointed so I went to a spot where I knew for a fact we would catch bowfin and jacks and he landed probably 15 of those so he had fun. I just wish he could have got a bass!
  12. I uploaded a picture on my profile of like 45 war mouth we caught with a few bream haha good eaten!
  13. And this is why emails are old school haha
  14. A whole 2 and a half!
  15. green pumpkin!
  16. Ehhhh Idk about their hard bodied swimbaits... I can't catch a fish on them to save my life, they look great in the water though
  17. I'd say stick with it because it will be worth it... I can't imagine fishing Texas rigs on whippy poles now that I use MH/F rods. You'll get used to it, anybody that buys a new rod has to get used to it because every rods different
  18. Yeah the best lures they make are the lipless and squarebill cranks, I will admit though some of their lures are junk.... Like their poppers, they aren't very good. I like the 2 hollow body frogs they make
  19. Square bills & Texas rig all year long The third spot changes as the seasons change... At the moment hollow body frogs are producing well for me!
  20. Yes, rod weight limits aren't something you have to follow but the farther and farther you get from those recommended weights the harder and harder it gets to cast
  21. Yes they have all the same popular colors as KVD 1.5s and look almost the same, I buy them more than kvd's now except when I can find the 1.5's on sale! Oh and BTW you can get them with or without rattles
  22. Are you using lure inside the rods weight recommendations?
  23. Are you making sure to use lures inside the rods weight limits?
  24. Yes! It is worth the extra money IMO because it is so smooth and doesn't dig in as much as normal PP, I feel I cast Super slick better but it is really just preference, some people prefer the normal PP and some like Super Slick. For spinning gear 10-20lb braid will be fine, so yes 15lb can work great
