I mainly use spinning for finessey type stuff like light line and light baits, I'll also use them when skipping baits but I don't need to do that very often.

Might try treble hooks... I just bought two packs of 4x strong trebles but they are to big for what I originally bought them for, maybe I just found a use for them lol

Honestly I couldn't tell you the capitol of every state in the U.S but should I learn them? Possibly, but I'm not worried about it right now as I don't need that information on a day to day basis. But that's certainly not the same as reading a clock, reading a clock would be more comparable to knowing how to tie your shoes.

I'll fish those little marabou jigs you can buy, I've caught a lot of bass with the 1/32oz but I don't target them with that, I'll go to 1/8oz+ for bass.

I like fishing lakes because IMO they are more challenging when it comes to finding bass year round... Not saying I don't like pond fishing though, I love fishing ponds.

Do schools need to even worry about that?? Parents should be able to teach their kids how to read a clock, that's pretty basic. I could teach a potatoe how to read an analog clock in 5 minutes.

I will admit that I too write rough drafts in pen before typing a final paper, but I have never felt the need to write it in cursive.

Couldn't agree with the last two post more. Cursive was used to speed up the writing process and make it so ink didn't get spattered on the page from lifting up and pushing back down on paper back in the day. We don't write with feathers anymore, cursive is obsolete.

I'll put it on my list of books to read! But down here in south ga fishing in the winter is great!
