Winds were crazy today, they were like 25mph with 35mph gust...

Its a mix of having a way to experience the outdoors and solving the puzzle of bass fishing for me. I can go out and get skunked and still say I enjoyed the day, but it helps to catch a hawg every now and again lol

You can look a bait up on the internet and find out what size hooks come with it, common sizes for lures are 2, 4, and 6.

Does anyone else have a problem with these where when you rig them vertical sometimes the tail wont flap right, like one flap will wiggle and the other wont? I trimmed my jig a little to make sure the strands weren't interfering with the trailers action but it still happens every couple of baits. And do any of y'all ever rig your rage craws vertical? I've never tried it but its my main trailer for swim jigs when rigged horizontally like normal. Figured id ask this here instead of making a new thread.

ouch, I sometimes leave trailers on my jigs from me just being lazy... never really thought about the fact the salt can help speed up rust formation

It was a 20 inch bass weighing 5lbs. And If I catch another big bass 6lbs+ I won't be getting it mounted, even if I catch a 10lber I won't get it mounted. I might take measurements but if anything I'm gonna be getting a replica which wouldn't be likely ethier. Now if I catch a complete monster then I'll tell you right now I'll get a replica mount made for it!

Ask him how he knows its a male or female then laugh in his face when he gives some bull answer... From what I understand there are some ways you can make a educated guess but there is no way to be 100% sure if a bass is male or female just by looking at them.

Nope, I still use that jig! Haha Ya there is a little paint messed up on the eye, and there is a rough spot on the edge of the gills and one on the tail also if you get close you can see a spot where the scales don't quite line up right. But overall I'm pleased and I like it.
