kb here was at sportmans warehouse yesterday and seen some baits that i threw away 30 years ago the jitterbug so i just had to buy a few they have know got a brokenback jitterbug. may be the fish forgot how the look . kb :

kbkindle o yeah when the may flies hatch out here in indiana its about late june or july when they get by the millions on tree branches the bait fish will get under the low branches and then the bass come to eat the bait fish great time to fish they will last about2 weeks get so many on one of the bridges here you have to watch driving it gets slippery there are so many dead ones we will take a shovel and scoop them up and make balls out of them about the size of a golf ball and freez them and is one of the best catfish bait there is kb

kbkindle here i hear you guys talking about luckycraft lures would like to give them a try. fish here mostley for smallmout bass in the weight range 2-3-4-lbs you talk about rc's and ssr's need a little help on what they are and what size and color you might think would work the best i know they say they are a clear water bait but my lake is stained to muddy in the mid summer any help would be appreciated thank you kb kindle

kb here skip a 1/4 oz black jig with a pork trailor with a spinning outfit and power pro line use the power pro makes the jig fall slower and hop it back out work great in the spring and fall. summer fat ika............. kb

kbkindle here what reel is better have not owned eather one a abu garcia stx or a shimano cu100d do have a few of abu's torno series and just love them you can adjust the break system on outside of reel and it crosswinds line you cannot get a backlash . looking on another fishing site and there was about12 guys answered a question what was better a revo stx or a pflueger supreme about 10 of the guys said dont buy the abu they are having all kind of problems with them some have sent them back and exchanged them. they sure put down the abu's kb

kb here i think i need a new reel was looking at abu revo's what is the difference between the sx-hs and the stx-hs other than $50.00 i have allways liked abu garcia i have 5 reels in the torno series and like them a lot. have had them for about 4 years or when they first came out every time something goes bad i send it to abu and they fix or relpace for n.c. want to put this reel on a 5"-6" pistol grip st croix rod mf for small to med cranks and 1/4 oz spinnerbaits do i have the wrong gear raito 7.1:1 the way i fish a spinner as soon as it hits the water ia'm cranking with a crank ill let it sit about 5 seconds then crank like hell thanks kb

kb here i have on of those fiberglass side front tounge step off and ons but they are expensive for a ranger i dont know if i still have the numbers on making one out of steel and bolting it to side of trailor but if you are interested let me know and i will try to fine the drawing i made with all the numbers kb

kb here have a few ready to prime and paint they are made of red cedar and the tags are marked with the amount of weight i used plus the size of bill i put them in a tank but want to try them out and see what ones runs the best and has the action i would like kb

kb here what to pick you guys brains i just got done cutting out and putting belly weights and the whole 9 yards all but painting i cut out 24 baits that ia'm going to use with different bills all different and i will be fishing for smallmouth fish here in my home lakes where there is a lot of fishing pressure and stained water just wanted to know what you think are the best colors for this kind of fishing thanks kbkindle

kb here again man ia'm 72 years old and still fish a lot get in some of the local tourneys and see these young guys (everyone is young to me) pull up with a new boat and a new truck + eguipment and you are talking about $100,00.00 mans that's great if you can afford it do it but when i was lets 40 years old i had to work 5 years to make $100,00.00. blows my mind ok ia'm just a old fart kb

kb here have you guys seen the price of some of the so called high end boats $50,00.00---$60,00.00 are we crazy or what. well i can see i will not get a new boat. so i think i will take a little more care of the old 2002 ranger i have. where will this price stop i guess not till we quit buying them might be a good business to get into restoring older boats better to spend $5,000.00 than $50,00.00kb

kb here i also have to wear prescription eye wear i have looked at about all the brands and for me the cosa-del-mar are the best i have never owened a pair have allways have had fit overs of all brands and they just dont have it. they are a pain in th a$$. l like the costa del mar in the eliminator style has the side shields they are on the salty side just glasses and frames $129.00 add prescription,and cr39 lens material in amber color and you have about $325.00 kb

welcome blaine i was a old man when i joined this youngster site and still a old man but one that has a lot more knowledge about bass fishing. rods, reels, etc and a loooot more about lure making. the greatest bunch of guys& gals you can find i also would like to say THANK YOU kb
