i have the same unit that that jig man has when i put mine in a ranger i think the hardest part was digging out all the foam to get to the drain pipe that goes from front of boat to rear and drill a hole in plastic pipe to install drain plastic tube kb

kb here i have state farm get a real good price but have my home , business, health,truck,car boat. about everything i think the agent has a lot to due with the service. i had a bodyshop for 35 years in my home town of about 5,000 people and would guess 60% are with state farm kb never had any problem with claims. allways could work them out and i cant say that about other co. here where i live allstate is terrible other places they are good. like i said it has a lot to due with agent kb

kb here again you guys nailed the deal with the cost of having a big bass boat. i thought a few years ago that i was a pretty good tourney fisherman. so i invested in a ranger boat boy i was going first class. had a great partner to fish with. going to split all the cost even. wife kept track of all the cost. gas,oil,enter t expence, motel room , eats,ins,etc we would win a few tourneys, some where in the bigger money to me $1000.00.. and at the end of year wife would talley up the cost of tourney fishing and the money we won.. and we still lost money every year. yes you can catch a lot of fish in a flat bottom, with a small engine. and have just as much fun doing it. the last ranger i bought in 2002 was $28,000.00 with a 200 hpdi yamaha and gas was $1.50 now $3.00 but the boat is paid for. but if i had to do it all over would probably get a boat for about 1/2 that price. as you guys know that ia'm a old man and cant keep up the pace of tourney fishing any more. but i go to the boat ramps and see some young guy have a $40,00.00 truck and a $50,00.00 boat. dont know how they do it. but more power to them kb man if you can afford it go for it we are just going to do this once in a lifetime kb

avid kb here its like the old saying when it comes to our play toys, if you have to ask how much, then anyone might want to think hard about buying a boat.the things you ask about the price of gas . to me has little meaning, with upkeep, insurance,batterys. depth finders and so on and on. it has to be just a hobby the biggest part of this hobby is not going to make you money yes there are a few.that get good enough but must have sponcers to make it. when you go out fishing for a day and have a great day and catch a lot of fish you release back. just might cost you a $100.00 a day everything included just another vice. but everone has to have something golf,travel, camping etc. will cost a lot of money,avid its just money kb

big m you are correct about kiln dry as far as cedar is concerned its the only wood that does not have to be kiln dryed but you have to stick it and air dry for 3-4 years if i get any wood that is not kiln dryed ill take a small amount and you can kiln dry in your microwave in obout total time 5 min. kb

kb here there seem to be a lot of places to buy here is one. but let me ask the saanother sitells guys around here in no indiana. there should be some here they say it grows mostley in northern states and down the east coast down to so. carolina. ill get back when i find out i want some also kb

dodeguy kb here a great report on fishing lines iam a power pro line user on everthing. one of the main reasons was the sensitivty of braid. if i were to use cajun red and was looking for the best sensitivty i would buy the flouro ? above the cajun red? thanks kb

kb here have any of you guys ever used the evercoat gel-kote for filling gouges on boat i have used ther scratch pad repairs it comes in a tube but it is really thin cant put much material on at one time wondering if ther gel-kote that comes in a pint can has a heaver body to it thanks kb

kb here i did what one of the guys suggested to do about what kind of cedar they use in poes crankbaits they answered me today WHITE CEDAR is the wood used. i have never caught a bass on a bait that does not have a bill i have not used one a lot in my serious bass fishing in the past 30 years . but i did order 3 xcalibur xr75's one crawdad,royal shad,firetiger colors going to give those lipless bait another try. and also going to copy design of it to make a few of my own. i know some of you guys dont like a person who steal's a design from someone else and ia'm guilty on this one going to make them out of cedar kb

hey stringjam kb here you sound that you are pretty knowledge about poes crankbaits i try to make wood crank baits in the winter time and have made a few cedar cranks. do you have any idea what kind of cedar they are made of we have red cedar, white cedar and about 4or 5 different kind of cedar trees around here in indiana. just wondering if there is any reason to use one kind of cedar over another. i have used red cedar and it works good maybe one kind floats better i dont know maybe you do thanks kb

kb here grandson and i went the other day we bet$3.00 for the first keeper $ 3.00 for the most keepers $ 3.00 for biggest keeper 14" and longer adam got me for $ 9.00 this was adams first keeper of the day we caught 2 keepers and some punks kb
