Anyone building rods this winter?
kb here not building any rods just crankbaits but ia'm going to try and build some wood handle baitcasting grips. i never have done this but i do have two wood lathes. one large lathe and one small one built a lot of pieces so i do know a little about this. and have some exotic wood s as curly maple, walnut hard maple, ebony, birds eye maple. mesquite made a lot of pieces out of mesquite i like the grain in it. it has a tight grain and runs every which way hard to work but sure does look nice kb

Single axle vs. Dual Axle?
kb here i have a ranger 195 which is 19'--5" and have a single axel i dont travel like i use to. if i did i would have traded off the single and got a tandum axel my fishing partner has a 520 and some times i pull his boat with my truck he has a tandum . man there sure is a lot of difference the dual axel pull's a lot easer and smoother , so long runs they are the best kb

Yellow lines?
kb here i dont know about the visability in water i use it in stained to muddy water so i dont think color is a factor. ia'm a line watcher and braid user i use power pro line and when i was useing there moss green line for me it blends into the grass and the green trees when i was pitching and fliping plastics i changed to yellow power pro and man can i really see the line. it works for me kb

reels
kb here i also had 3 eon's and they also did not last a year. i did not complain to abu garcia just sent them back to co. and told them at that time they need those reels more than me . they intern sent me 3 tornos back and i like these reels. not as good as a curdao but close kb
