also we used strike king 5xds

Me BassHunterJGH and Hank went to lopez over this spring break. We managed around 20 fish but only 5 keepers biggest was a 5 pound largemouth on a lc pointer and we had a fun time in the rain rippin smallies of the dam on topwaters in like a foot of water. I also found a few crankbaits on the shore which was a plus. Topwaters, dropshots gitzits and jerkbaits did the best for us...

I was at lopez for this last weekand and it has gone down like 5 or 10 more feet. It did rain but it didn't fill the lake up much....

I love shimano reels. A saros or stradic would work fine. Congrats on your phenix! I know you will love it.

It's a bummer you don't live closer to Lopez. It's an hour and 15 from me. Great fishing right now bass are spawning.
