Chances of US and Iranian conflict?
The Bible does not list such extreme items such as "Slay the unbelievers where you see them." You should read one of my first posts on this subject, where it points out countless times when the quran states violence. The Bible has no such degree of violence, nor does it call to "Slay the unbelievers where you see them."

I just noticed that my avatar has a line that says "C'mon, warm up already", Cigarlovers says "Is it spring yet?", and KU's says "Suffering from cabin fever." ;D

Well said, Water Dog!

Musical talent
Thanks! Muddy, Senile said it best. Flatt and Scruggs are great, as well as the bluegrass doctor himself, Bill Monroe. I bet you would enjoy their work, and if you get the chance, some of the newer groups such as the Grascals and Ricky Skaggs & Kentucky Thunder are good as well.

Musical talent
I play the acoustic guitar and sing for a bluegrass group. My brother plays the banjo. We have a website on my profile if anyone is interested. That's me on the guitar. What a nice mandolin, Burley!

Carp...I need some help
I know this is an older post, but the area I fish has some large carp in it. In the spring and summer I can sometimes see them cruising on top of the water, and occasionally one will flop on top of the water. I saw a variety of baits listed in this post. However, I have a question. With chumming or with the bait I put on the hook, how do I keep the bluegill away? This area also has a good population of bluegill, and I was wondering if there was a bait that carp only would bite or something. Thanks!

Chances of US and Iranian conflict?
I agree that the UN should probably just be dissolved...it was a good idea at first, but now it's just pointless and a waste of money.

Chances of US and Iranian conflict?
As far as other countries are concerned, you're either with us, or you're against us.

Chances of US and Iranian conflict?
Question: Would you rather we (the United States) wait for a terrorist attack and massive loss of life here on U.S soil, or would you rather the United States strike now and avoid further attacks?

curious to know what you guys think about noise
Heh Heh Good one Roadwarrior Noise doesn't seem to affect the fish here, unless you really make a ton of noise when first approaching a spot.

Chances of US and Iranian conflict?
If we would have stayed the course in Vietnam instead of having idiots like Jane Fonda sitting on enemies tanks, we would have won Vietnam. Yes, we would have won. The reason we lost is that we pulled out because of hippies crying for peace. Now, people in congress want to do the same thing, and if we pull out, it will be a lost cause, as was Vietnam. Personally, who cares? When was the last time other countries came to our aid, other than with the War on Terror? When the Tsunami hit, billions went from the US to those disaster hit countries to help out. Anytime a disaster hits overseas, we are the first ones to help. Yet after Hurricane Katrina, I don't remember countries rushing to our aid as we did for them.
