  1. went back for seconds. lol caught this one in some super heavy cover!
  2. and what swim bait is that
  3. thanks blue basser^^^^ why would one largmouth have red eyes and another black?
  4. funny you woul post this because that what I have tied on! yes! very productive! I fish mostly from a float tube. I take a medium *** black for spinerbaits and a 6'6 heavy team daiwa for jigs. if you have only two rods its important to know your waters. I catch more fish and better quality than alot of guys because I know my waters.
  5. I agree ^^^^ there are better options. Look at Berkley lightning rods.
  6. I recently asked you guys about this rod size and action. Due to the llack of information online I did a review. There specific rod is a team daiwa t rod, 6'6" heavy, fast action. For the price this rod is excellent. I feel it is a bit heavy but balances well when paired with my lexa 100. The rod has ten guides that all were well aligned. This thing is more of an extra fast action! I fish off kayaks and float tubes and I have to say this size rod alows me to cast from these platforms much easier! For those of you that fish heavy cover from a low platform, I cannot describe how much more efficient this rod is when compared to a 7'6". I was able to nail a 5 lb bass and the rod is powerful.
  7. I dont think its a rock bass
  8. 12 inches or so
  9. what kind of bass are these
  10. I am having trouble finding the size of the bearings for my lexa 100. I found out while cleaning that this reel has a bushing under the cast control knob.
  11. another vote for the lexa 100 on ***.com!!!! I own three and love them. I dont think they can be beat at the current markdown of 70 bucks!
  12. I got the rod in today and love it! Shouldnt be a problem fishing my jigs around the tulles thanks guys
  13. Ive recently been gaining confidence in these baits. I currently only have a few double willow blade strike king and booyaa models all of which are whit or white and chartreuse. Any advise on what to get would be apreciated. I believe in quality and cant seem to find out online what the best spinnerbaits are.
  14. thanks guys I am 5'7". I'll let you know how I like it tomorrow.
  15. what would this rod be best suited for? I got it on sale and was looking for something longer....
  16. I recently did a 1977 abu ambassadeur 4600c. I installed a duel bearing level wind, abec 7 spool bearings, ball bearing idler cog gear, and carbontex drag. I polished the pinion gear and spool ends. My free spool time on this reel is rediculous! I can outcast most new stock low pro reels.
  17. I agree with matt allen. 4 basics are all that are needed. 3 basic colors, black, brown and green. Your colors can be any variant of these colors. for exzample black n blue or black n purple etc
  18. call smooooth drag im sure they can hook you up. As for the bearings, if you contact quantum they should have the size, then just order new bearings in that size
  19. too much grease or oil can sneak in there. I would also check your drag spring washers and make sure they are in proper order. Remember to relieve the drag when storing your reel to prevent warping of these washers.
