I'm looking to make my first purchase. Any advise on colors? I fish pretty clear water so bluegill or craw imitations work best. Please include pics.

Longer rods provide a longer fulcrum. Not mandatory but definitely advantageous! Also longer rods provide better leverage for the short, boxing match fights that usually take place while flipping.

How is 10 lb floro on baitcasting gear? And I do catch fish north of 8 lbs occasionally. Is 10 lb enough?

I'm pretty sure I know the answer but here it is. I fish some large ponds/small lakes that are very clear. I've had succsess with bitsy flip jigs and 12 lb mono. What line would you guys be using? Also any jig or trailor ideas. Thanks.
