  6. Welcome I'm in nor cal outside of chico. Where are you in cali?
  7. I catch bass with some nasty mouth wounds from anglers. Also white on fish is almost always bad. I wouldn't worry unless you start catching a bunch of messed up fish.

Dead because it's getting mounted. This is a huge fish for around here. I caught her on a 5 inch zoom finesse worm on a split shot rig with 12 lb fluorocarbon. She was between two underwater humps in about 8 fow. Not telling exact body of water thanks guys
  9. T rigged is how they were designed to be fished. They are also much more weed less when t rigged.

  11. I live in northern California and people forget how big bass get out here. I've caught a handful of 6 to 8 pounders this year and one over ten. All were caught on 12 lb or less and in hydrilla or coon tail. I'm getting ready to try braid out because I feel it will be easier to get these fish out but it is not a necessity!
  12. Wow blue basser that's crazy man.
  13. Here is my 8 year old fishing t rigged plastics. We started at around 4 on senko style baits. Today he uses spinning gear.
  14. Nice hog brudda
  15. This is a really cool app that describes the breaking strength of each knot. The app perfectly shows how to tie any knot you need! It's called knot wars.
  16. Just learn to tie a double uni or a blood knot! Practice until your fingers hurt and you can tie it in a dimly lit room. I assure you itshould alot faster than you think.
  17. Both boxes are cool sometimes because you can put 6 colors of the same plastic in one box. It's fast and easy. I leave some stuff in bags too. Some plastics melt or bleed like the strike king elastic worms!
  18. You'll never forget your first!
  19. I have a pool that is 4 ft deep that I use to test lures in because a fish tank is not deep enough to test action. Believe me or not... I really don't care. Put on a snorkel and go see for yourselves! Senkos are unique in their fall rate as well as their "shimmy". Nothing comes close. A few stick baits fall with no action. None not even a little. They just slowly fall. I'm sure you can catch fish with them under the right circumstances. When viewed underwater it's not even funny how different the senko performs compared to competition. That said I have not tested every single knock off out there. There are actually several plastic baits that say they do this or that but when tested underwater with snorkel masks they fail. Anyways take it for what you want. Tight lines everyone!
  20. Somebody has to know?
  21. Worn line with any small nicks or abrasions will break. Your rod works as a shock absorber, so when you grab the line you lose that quality.
  22. If a senko is not a sight bait then what is it? Do tell!
