  1. Something funny I do when I try a bait out is give it a nice wiff! Well I've never fished an f2 craw but due to a crazy sale at wm I had to try em. I pull one out and give her a smell and..... nothing! I also got some kvd coffee perfect plastic rodents and can smell da heck outa them. So what gives are the enzymes sent less or did I get a bad batch?
  2. For slack line lures like senkos or anything else I need to fall vertical, I cast a slight arch in the line and engage the spool.
  3. I agree with WRB on this. I do line watch but if you can feel what your bait is doing you will detect more strikes. I learned by paying close attention to what my bait feels like without a bite it was alot easier to feel something different. For example I'm fishing 8 for and I "feel" that my bait stopped around 4 fow... bam set the hook! Maintain alot of contact with your line but also concentrate on what your bait is doing. Practice practice practice. I'm learning jigs and let me tell you. Developing that sense from hours of plastic fishing is helping tons. Also I fish from a tube at water level and it can be tricky to do everything sitting down in the water.
  4. Ok great! I was just curious if any one had experience with separating only one or whatever. Thanks guys and super tight lines
  5. My question is why there are 2 tabs connecting the arms? Do you cut one or both or none. Can you adjust the action depending on these tabs?
  6. I guess glide baits because of the price of entry. I live in cali where they use huge 10 plus inch super realistic baits to catch giants. Some of these swim baits cost well north of 100 bucks! Not to mention a specific rod and reel combo to throw the 4 oz plus bait.
  7. Serious fishing started around 17. I was an eagle scout and had the opportunity to catch trout while hiking through the Sierra nevadas. Today Im 28 and fish for LMB, salmon, trout, stripper, and sturgeon.
  8. Dollar for dollar? A jig hands down. One 3 dollar jig can catch 40 or more fish.
  9. I read a couple reviews that rag on durability. What's everyone on here's opinion?
  10. By the way those tires are directional and larger in the rear making them kinda hard to rotate. Vet tires can cause major wallet damage if I remember right.
  11. Heck yes. I used to work in the tire shop at Costco. Got to drive a couple sweet cars.
  12. These look sweet were do you get em?
  13. Great idea Kevin. Another site is Gans craft. Com
  14. Hey man keep chasing your dreams! Alot of these guys will give you constructive criticism which is great. I agree with the others on grammar but also consider some work on public speaking. You can do anything as long as you are willing to work hard and pay the price. Good luck
  15. Depends on location and condition. If I got that "feeling" I will stay put. If not I move. I hunt fish so I trust my gut and I watch my surroundings. If I see fish or bait activity I will move towards that activity but if I'm in a high percentage spot I'll hang out. Time of year also plays a role how long I stay in a given spot. If I catch to many small fish I will move.
  16. Ok I'd say start with 5 inch senkos in green pumpkin. A pack of ewg 3/0 hooks. A few ribbon tail worms. 1/8 to 3/8 bullet weights. 3/8 oz white spinner bait. Maybe a lip less crankbait. I'd try some of these and then branch out. So if you like plastic worms get different styles and colors. Oh and if I were to start over get a black and blue 1/2 oz jig.
  17. Should work or you can get a battery powered aerator.
  18. Savage businesses dude right here!
  19. Fishermen is plural... Fisherman in singular.
  20. Different waters have specific hook rules. For example sacrament sturgeon can only be caught with single barbless hooks. If your waters require single hooks then you will have to follow the rules. I recommend talking to the tackle shops in your area as they should be able to guide you towards what lures to use.
  21. Download the app image shrink lite.
