If you have cleaned and oiled the worm gear and pawl assembly then your problem is a worn pawl. Should only cost a few bucks.

get some jigs in the same proven colors as your plastics. This can help with your confidence.

how do you fish em? I have been parallel casting spinnerbaits with some success. Just looking to learn what you all like to do.

lol ive caught 4 fish in 2 days with this rod over 19 inches with the biggest right at 22. The heavy action yanks em 3 feet out of cover just on the hookset!
