I caught a 8 lb. bowfin in a 25,000 big bass tournament on Sardis reservoir in MS. my partner told me after he netted it that he was for sure we had won it when he saw the way my rod was bowed and knew he was going to be the best paid net man ever, oh well. Update I went back the next day and everything else related to fishing was gone, but I was looking around and noticed that they had a bunch of fake jewelry in a box, turns out it was the box to the van staal pliers so I gave them a quarter for the box of jewelry. tossed that and now I have the box.
