I caught a 8 lb. bowfin in a 25,000 big bass tournament on Sardis reservoir in MS. my partner told me after he netted it that he was for sure we had won it when he saw the way my rod was bowed and knew he was going to be the best paid net man ever, oh well. But my ex-partner did end up wining it on a spot I took him to the week before. Another Oh Well

Update I went back the next day and everything else related to fishing was gone, but I was looking around and noticed that they had a bunch of fake jewelry in a box, turns out it was the box to the van staal pliers so I gave them a quarter for the box of jewelry. tossed that and now I have the box. So now I have a complete conversation piece. And I still haven't figured out why anyone would pay $300 for these. They are nice and cut great but that's it.

These are the 6'' and the best price I found was $295 plus shipping. The are solid Titanium I guess that is what makes them expensive. though they would have to be made out of gold for me to buy a pair at retail. They do have a nice feel to them. And I don't think these have ever been used. I asked if there was any other fishing gear there after she got home and said they had a bunch of stuff. I went back but they had closed up. I will be back first thing in the morning, I hope they're other stuff is as good a deal as these were. I will let y'all know.

I wish I would wake up to a rainy morning. I moved to southern CA. from TN. recently, and I never thought I would miss rain. But I don't think it has rained since I've been here. I would love to go fish in the rain.
