  2. pshhh... after Friday smoking whites and their much larger cousins and then the ones at Shawnee on Saturday I was tired of them. Peroxide went nuts on my right hand both nights. lol
  3. Turned out to be a good trip out of what could have been a horrible one. I really think that was the cleanest we fished all season. I guess if you are going to pick a tournament to be clean in... this was the one!
  4. Didn't end up fishing at all out there, not even with my buddy in Hampton Lake. Wife's grandfather got diagnosed with cancer so we spent as much time with him as possible.
  5. Poor fella never had a chance.
  6. Last time we were at Hillsdale (few weeks ago) if you were fishing deeper than 5' you were too deep.
  7. All day er day! Wobble baby wobble baby wobble!
  8. Order C&C next time!
  9. I still remember the fear in your eyes the first tournament we fished at Lone Star and big girl came up and choked the horny toad on my mono set up. lol.
  10. South Carolina bound tomorrow morning! Bring on the BEACH!
  11. Slowly nodding off kicked back in the reclining love seat with my wife next to me. Youngest daughter on my lap and oldest daughter on my wife's lap with the dog in between. Just knowing at that moment my entire world is right there, and all the other stuff is just that... stuff.
  12. I find myself intrigued and wondering what does one do to develop a stalker on Bass Resource? lol.
  13. dammit bobby! I knew what this was gonna be before I even opened it. Blood pressure literally rising...
  14. He said dripping with sarcasm...
  15. Wow! Wonder if the zero bank pressure on the east side of the lake has helped?
  16. Going to be there in less than a month! Can't freaking wait!
  17. Truth... I've never felt more violated in my life...
  18. Guys, @Bluebasser86 and his family need our prayers now. His youngest son Finn was in terrible pain and acting off so they took him to Children's Mercy where things are starting to look serious. They think his bowels are closing in on each other, and immediatey transferred him by ambulance to the main Children's Mercy Downtown. Last update his fever had finally broke, and he was on an IV drip. Let's send this awesome family and incredible young man some much needed Prayers!
  19. It was. Almost as brutal as having a keyed in pattern 2 days before the tournament and then nothing during it.
  20. All I can think about when I see bed fishing now is a d**n 3.01lb Spot from LOZ that was 2 drips of water from being a $500 fish.
  21. Time to get things fired back up... Rods are coming out of retirement!!!
  22. I'm ready to come out of retirement. I think maybe... just maybe I have a few things left to prove. lol.
  23. I watched @Bluebasser86 do it last Friday in 30-40' of water in 20-25 mph winds with a 1/16th oz head and TRD. Kansas has taught us that what most people call a stiff wind, is a slight breeze to us. I'm not saying this to mock you, I'm just saying it can be and is done. You didn't need to validate your point anymore after you said you fish for big fish 90% of the time and finesse fish the other 10%. No need to invest in other techniques/products at that rate at all. The general was putting in work!
