Anything over 12" put on a scale, snap a pic and release. Add up your top 5 weights. Can't be cheated and gives you lots of flexibility on weird length lakes. You can always bring in your over fish to show off.... I mean weigh in person

Rage toad slow rolled weightless top water over weeds, rocks, timber, next to docks etc. Don't get me wrong, I love rage but when it comes to price, I can save some money and catch the same fish on zoom horny toads. And I use netbait paca chunks rather than rage craws. They are great products, but don't see it's worth the extra $$$

If you only have 1 confidence bait I'd say leave it at home and go fun fishing sometime with new stuff. Build up your arsenal. I've got a number of baits and several styles that I fall back on. It's all about adapting, and sometimes you have to fall back and punt.

I have a ton of stuff that I honestly never use. It's in good shape and is stored so it will stay that way. Honestly some of it is probably half my age, but I never know when it may come in handy for a unique look to heavily pressured fish.

From what I've heard the tips you will get is pick a different lake. Been recent stories of all day fishing trips with maybe 1 bite...

Have heard of guys spinning electrical tape on the center 2-3 times and hooking through worm and all. Can get the bright colors to add a bit of unique look to it as well.
