I just got to ft lauderdale where's some close spots

Happened to me friday One day before my trip to south florida. I went trout fishing in a nearby river and and it was icy and the river was part frozen and I'm carrying 3 rods and a tackle bag I go to step around this little tree and slip on ice and my right leg slips of the rocks and breaks ice and goes into the water while my left leg stayed up on the rock I happened to grab the branch which saved me from going all the way in. So I pull my self out and my right knee gives out I guess I twisted it really bad I hobbled back to my car and went home and put a knee brace on and left for florida. It's not keeping me from catching fish on my vacation! Il probably have it looked at when I come back.

Was fishing at my local lake on my lunch break I was catching a bunch of fish off a hump far out from shore and two kids about 13-14 years old in a pond prowler with a trolling motor were on the other side of the lake and wernt catching fish and I yelled to them what I knew was out there and told them to fish it and the cauhjt some fish

The one by my work always has clearance boxes like 3 of them full of everything and the one by my house never has anything ever.

Hooked into some Giants in a little river by my house man do they pull hard they all broke me off we only landed a 5 lb and even that one pulled drag and took a couple minutes to get to the bank I was using bread and had better luck when I sprayed the bread and line with crawfish spray

I said 6lbs 8 ounces lol

Yeah I Wana do some charters but I also wana go to a peir and catch some fish on my own I'm sure charters down there are expensive. I went to ft lauderdale last year and took a charter and caught an 85in sailfish it was around 200 dollars for 4 hours with tip and stopping at the marina for some goggle eyes. I

So next month in goin on vacation with the woman to key west. I'm wondering what will be biting around then and what produces well for you. I'm for sure going on some chartered trips but I might try some peir and surf fishing any info or tips would be appreciated! Thanks

Congrats mine was probably shy of 5 lbs caught it on a white chatterbait I've only really been bass fishing for a little over two years. It was 20 inches long it's the bass in my avatar pic.
