I hooked one before jumped a few times and broke off they can be really nasty animals

I got into bass fishing due to live frogs. I went to a Pond with no bait and seen little water frogs along the shore I caught some of them and put them on. Hook and sure enough the bass couldn't get enough of them! I caught probably 7 bass that day all were small 12in or less. Ever since that day I became addicted! I lost a rod and reel in another pond while it was casted out with a frog on it and I was using another rod a couple yards away either a bass or catfish took that frog along with my rod lol

I went to my local lake today and stopped to talk to one of the guys I usually run into there and he showed me the giron he just bought then he casted it out to show me the swimming action it has it was amazing how that thing swam. He hooked into a fish five feet off the bank got me thinking I might get some. Anybody use them and wanna share your experience with it! Thanks

Used a square bill today for the first time and caught 3 dinks but man does that square bill really bounce off logs as I could see it under water! Plan on using them more often!

Do you use paint or powder coat them?

I've had pretty good luck with the super spook jr lately like blue mentioned but my clear one has got more fish then the bone color.

I caught a bass one time all messed up like that. It was in a lake with pickerel at least they still can catch food!

I saw a video on you tube a few years ago of a thug type guy lol catch a 5-6 pounder then just throwing it on the ground and killing it. like yeahh just caught that! Couldn't beleive it

My first baitcaster was a Abu Garcia silver max on a ugly stix gx2 for like 110 bucks and I still use it today

I have used a chatterbait since I've been bass fishing I like the blue gill color with gold blade the best then the white one. I put paddle tail swimbaits on them they have caught my PB and many other bigger bass. I just started using apinnerbaits recently and do good with strike kings the big ones and the small ones. I also like to have a trailer hook on my spinners

So today I used a lake fork popper before work for about an hour. First time catching a bass on a popper and I landed 3 and 3 got off as I was reeling it in. So my question is should I change out the hooks to ewg hooks? Any input would be appreciated thanks!

Went to rocky gorge yesterday for the first time for about an hour caught one bass about 15 inches on a trigged curly tail worm thrown at a small brush pile. Also seen some bass bedding it the back of some coves.
