Looking for trailer keeper hook barb
I am looking for some sort of clip on barb that will clip onto the shaft of a hook to keep jig trailers from sliding down. I'm not sure there is anything out there but it seems simple enough that there would be some sort of solution.

What are these called?
I'm looking for the little metal things that are used to keep texas rigged plastics from sliding down the hook. They look like bent snaps. And since i'm here..............is there anything like a snap on barb that you can clip onto a jig hook to keep the trailer from sliding down?

Your favorite way to pitch/flip
I also used 12lb and it was amazing but the 17lb was a nightmare. Sounds like 14lb is more like the 12 than the 17. Thanks for the info.

Poll: Straight hook or Wide Gap on Jigs?
Personally I like EWG's

Your favorite way to pitch/flip
The only advice I have is to use mono over Fluoro if you are going to use heavier line sizes. Fluoro will make it hard to flip because of the memory in the heavier tests, i wouldn't go over 12 but thats just me. Last year I had 17 lb Trilene 100% and thought my reel needed to be cleaned but it didn't I put on 17 lb mono and was flipping without any problems.

"Fish TV" question
I have a similar one to that and it is freekin cool. I was amazed to see how clear the picture was and what was down there. Not being able to turn them gets annoying when a fish swims away and you can't follow him but thiers not much you can do about that. I say give it a shot, you'll be amazed at what you'll find in areas you though you knew inside and out.

copper vs stainless wire for skirts
I have read quite a few recomendations for copper wire but haven't seen many for using stainless. I was thinking about trying stainless but wanted to know if there is a reason it won't work as well as copper.

Like to see some jigs
Natural, how many strands are in those skirts? They look real nice. And I noticed the bumpy finish is on the head, is that part of the mold or do you do that yourself?

Jig Making questions
To keep in touch with bass fishing in someway over the winter i was thinking about making jigs to hold me over until spring comes around. Is there a tutorial or guide out there anywhere. I couldn't find anything using google. I primarily use jigs for flipping weeds, pads, docks or laydowns so I want to find a mold that can handle a stronger hook. What mold would you recommend for this and what type of paint should i use? epoxy? Pretty much any tips you can give me will be helpful, thanks.

Removing line twists
My rods with a texas rig and my spinnerbait rod get pretty bad line twists by the end of the day. Is there a way to get rid of the line twist without changing the line or stripping line off the reel?

Sun Tan Lotion
I have read that sun tan lotion is a serious bass repelent, is there a lotion that will not repel bass. Or can anyone tell me what ingredients to avoid in the lotion?

favorite sunglasses
I had the costa del mar blue mirror 580's. I sold them for the Green mirror 580's with the Brine frame and they are amazing. Put on a pair with the 580 lenses when you are driving and you will be amazed by how much they make green, red, blue and brown stand out. I have found weed beds with them because of it that my dad couldn't see with his glasses because of the 580 technology. They are amazing and i would highly recommend it.

Crank Baits and Timber
Try cutting the front barb off each treble hook or replacing them with regular hooks rather than treble.

Best Temp Jerk Baits and topwater?
What temprature does the jerkbait bite die off in the spring and when does the topwater bite start? I know Topwater is good post spawn but I'm not sure if people fish spawning areas with them during the spawn.

sunglasses accessories?
They are actually pleanty big, if anything they are to big which i like cause the lenses are the biggest they make.

sunglasses accessories?
I recently bought a pair of Costa Del Mar Hammerhead sunglasses and I love the lenses but the part that goes on your ear can get pretty uncomfortable if worn for a while. Is there some sort of cushion that can be put there to make them more comfortable?

What is your fav. light texas rig ?
- Sunglasses?
Yes. Polarized glass vs no glasses or non-polarized glasses will defintaly help you see through the water better in shallow water. Polarized glasses cut down the reflection on the surface of the water and let you see much better. Its like turning a light on and you can't see out the window in your house because of the reflection then turning it off and you can see clear through it. - Sunglasses?
