  1. Wow there is a name from the past. I saw him open up for Primus and the almighty "Les' years ago. 8-) 8-) 8-)
  2. Wow!!! Thats comedy gold! Well done... ;D ;D ;D
  3. Speedy recovery, Wagn. Lyme disease is serious stuff. Good thing you caught it early. Heal up and we can get on on my boat soon. BTW... Deer Ticks are the main carrier of Lyme Disease, these tick are much smaller than the average ticks you find on yourself or your pet.
  4. What I cant wrap my head around is there was no worst case scenario plan. That if all the fail safes failed to work this is how the problem would be solved, in a reasonable amount of time. This spill is going to have a huge negative impact environmentally. I think everyone can agree on that. A large population of peoples livelihoods depends on a quick and successful clean up, from commercial seafood, guide fishing, and tourism. If they dont clean this up properly and in a timely manner this could have a huge impact on our fragile economy. At some point you know that the US taxpayer will be looked at to help pay for the cleanup. Its a bad deal all around, Id hate to see my community to have to go through that and just watch fishing spots and peoples livelihoods suffer. > :(
  5. Full story here. :(
  6. Seriously! Who's fishing stuff is important enough to risk getting shot over? For the Rambo's here your single pistol is not going to be worth pulling out when you're faced with multiple AK 47's. I see tyrius is still bringing some wisdom to the discussion, well done... :)
  7. Ok, I hope we can discuss this without getting into any much political debate. I first saw this and was pretty disappointed with the whole thing. What are your thoughts? Read the story here and more fallout reported here.
  8. Nice pics nashua fisherman, Thanks for sharing. I bumped into a decent school of Crappie in Canobie one time other than that I dont see them too often.
  9. Hey guys, Finally got out Sunday after a week of no fishing. Friend backed out on me last minute so I had an empty back of the boat. I put on my home lake. I caught 15 before noon and ended up with 18 when I left at 3pm. As soon as the sun came out and started to beat down my morning shallow pattern dried up. I couldnt buy a bite after 1pm. I caught 4 smallies 3 of which were in the 2lb range. They were just starting to get up and fanning beds. Water temps were about 60*F. Tight lines all...
  10. Fished Canobie Sunday 7LM bass biggest was 3lbs. After that windy front moved through the shallow bite died. Not to shabby, for 9am - 3pm.
  11. So I was out fishing on some local waters. I saw something floating around that I did a double take on. It was a hypodermic needle. My first thoughts were to get it out of the water this body of water is also a drinking source for the town its partially in. Then I was like well I dont know whats in it or anything about it so I let it float on by. Should I have done something different? :-/ :-/ :-/
  12. Hey guys, Thoughts I'd chime in here. I have been out 2 days and one half day outing. My fish count stands at 38 LM and 3 SM. Large percentage of my fish have been on fast moving lures, jerkbaits, crankbaits, traps. 3lb LM was on a jig and 2lb SM was on small soft plastics. Good luck and tight lines all.
  13. Nice Pig! On another a parody of life in NH.
  14. Hey guys, Basically just wanted to hear from some of you out there. I have some of the bigger wake baits (slammers) and 2 Spro BBz1s also plan on getting some of the hard gills from Mattlures. My question to you is this. What or how are you guys storing your baits. Really dont think the 3700s boxes will do. so let me know what you guys use thanks in advance. Tight lines all.

  18. Welcome aboard NHBass. Is anyone going to brave the heavy rains this weekend? I think Im going to pass and wait for my home lake to open up and go out the following weekend if I can. GL and tight lines to those who can get out.

  22. Good Luck on your new endeavor and to your future success.
  23. I had a real eye opener back over memorial day weekend of 2009. Emergency surgery, hospital stay luckily I was back to normal in 3 weeks or so. However I did get disability ins 3 months after that just in case. I opted for the long term disability ins. If I remember right I need to be unable to preform my workday duties for 3 months and they will start cutting me checks. In my case with the plan I chose I would get these checks until I hit 65 and was able for social security, I also opted for the cola (Cost of Living Allowance) rider. I dont have a wife or kids so its just me, however I dont want to lose my house or other property. HTH
