I hear you Crestliner2008, I live in southern NH and we were without power for 4 days. It seems that this has become the norm now. I can't remember ever being without power for the length of time, that these storms now knock out power for, even as a kid we would lose power but it would be back on in the morning. I cant understand how these companies can't get power back on in a reasonable amount of time. I think this type of disaster exposes the situation that the electrical infrastructure in parts of the country are in serious need of updating and repair, or that the amount of line crews that the electric companies have are seriously under staffed. I have a 5500watt generator that I use to power my house in an emergency. It powers just about everything and I do shut off some items that are not needed. I hope this helps.

Wow, I guess I'm in the minority fishing a tube in the fall. However in the lures to select from I would take a jig.

This is a great reminder, I feel for you as you move along with your recovery and I hope you get back to your usual self asap. My mother has suffered dearly from skin cancer. She has had bouts of Melanoma, which has spread to her lungs, colon and gall bladder. She is doing better now but the battle has taken allot out of her. I keep multiple tubes of the highest quality and SPF on my boat and tackle bag and apply it 2-3 times a day or as needed. I hope this sinks in with some of the younger members. The sun is a very harmful thing in regards to your skin, especially if you have fair/pale complexion.

Honey crisps are real good and tasty. They are my second favorite apple.If you live near an orchard try my favorite they are called Mutsu, very much like a honey crisp but a little juicier, either way got to love living near so many orchards. :D

Interesting keep us posted on any new updates that would be a great thing to come to those invasive fish. More should be done to prevent things like that from happening again.

So I have 2 older 7foot bass rods one is a generic spinning blank it has a Tennessee cork handle. The other is a 7ft Allstar spinning rod, on the Allstar rod one of the ceramic discs inside the line guide has popped off and gone MIA. Any hope to repair the rod? The generic rod like I said has a Tennessee cork handle, any chance that I could take that off and slap another handle with a longer butt on the end of it, it is woefully out of balance and creates some severe arm fatigue when using it.

I will have to go with Al Davis on this one. I am also so grateful for the Krafts who bought the Patriots and turned that team around in a major way. I would guess would have to be one of the top 5 owners of the NFL. B)

Never tried dip or chew or cigarettes, either the smell of the smoke or the constant spitting didn't impress me. Later on in years looking at the possible side effects I cant seem to understand why anyone would knowingly start. I guess to each their own. I have gone through each of my parents having cancer my Dad once my Mom 5 times. I have seen the pain and discomfort that it has put them through, so for me starting something that raises the odds of getting cancer wasn't even a possibility.

Hey guys been real busy with things other than fishing. However went on a Vaca with girlfriends family upto Maine. Caught my first 2 landlocked Salmon ever and a toad of a LM bass in teh 4.5-5lb range came on a Spro Frog with 40lb braid.
